So I am assuming that CFA hired the contractor currently installing the pavers in front. Anyone who lives around here is familiar with the common access that is shared amongst Chick-fil-A and the other adjacent businesses as well as the limited access to get to any of them. This was a Sunday and all I needed to do was pass in front of Chic-Fil-A. As I approached the pick up truck, there were clearly men working on the opposite side but there was plenty of room to get by on the side free of workers so that is what I attempted to do. However, I was forced to slam on my brakes when the driver (didnt even notice there was someone inside truck) side door swung open! At first I thought the guy simply did not see me so I waited for him to close his door. After he threw his hands up, it occurred to me that this was his method of blocking the entire drive. There was no reason for me not to be allowed to pass that I could see so I backed up, parked my vehicle and proceeded to get out and figure out why He was clearly forcing me south on 41 when I needed to go North (i was trying to get to the light). I first had to calm down my 10 year old daughter who was fairly certain the man meant us harm. He proceeded to ask me what I thought I was doing? He said you can’t drive through here because we just installed these pavers. That was news to me but I was curious when I saw his front driver side tire rusting squarely on the newly installed pavers? this we just like these pavers. I thought about addressing this but I had my daughter in the front seat freaking out and his demeanor got more and more aggressive. I simply explained to him that I did not see or notice his new work and that a couple orange cones and $2 worth of Danger tape would probably be a much safer barrier/blockade then the “I’ll hit you with my truck door if you dare try to drive by here method”. Without the proper equipment to get the job done safely I imagine this guy was likely the lowest bidder.
I guess the good news for you Chick-fil-A is that your traffic control efforts are clearly highly effective as it never occurred to me that I could drive the wrong way around...
Read moreSo,…we tried the new mobile app lane. All good until we got to the baseball field for my son’s game tonight and unpacked the to-go. My wife’s salad had no dressing. We looked at the receipt to confirm - wasn’t it selected in the app. Yes, yes it was. Ok, no big deal. Stuff happens. It’s when I called and spoke with a manager on duty. A young girl from the sounds of it. This is Monday 5/6 at 7pm. I explained the mistake. She apologized and then a long uncomfortable silence. I was about to speak and she asked - can yall come back to get the missed dressing? I said no, like I said we are now at a lengthy baseball game miles and miles away. I’m still waiting for the - please accept our apologies and let me make a note of your wife’s name and number and she can come by any day, anytime and get a fresh salad with a dressing of her choice with our apologies. Instead I got: please tell her she can come by anytime to get that dressing. What exactly are we going to do with a dressing? She can’t eat her salad tonight and she’s starving. I know stuff happens but a missed dressing versus a missed dipping sauce are entirely different things. I think this is a chance to do a couple of things. One have a talk with your staff to triple check orders - especially those with salads and corresponding dressings as to me dressings are essential along with utensils. Two, talk with your manager on how to properly address this situation going forward. It’s what I would have done and I’m in the business of client satisfaction. It’s pretty straightforward and easy. Let me offer my apologies, get her name and number and if she wants to call ahead we’ll have her fresh salad and dressing selection waiting for her. We love CFA, but let’s do...
Read moreI would NEVER place a complaint on Chick fil A but today was complete chaos in the Acworth location. They shut the drive thru because of lightning (a staffer stated) then they decided it would be a great idea to have all those drive thru orders go into the dinning room to pickup their orders, which caused SO MANY PEOPLE in the dinning room waiting to pickup their orders. HELLO! FIRE HAZARD! You could not even move and talk about pandemic and the CDC announced to wear masks and stand 6 ft away, well that was not happening. They could have used a standard drive through and have people place orders through those big menu boards, DUH! If someone placed an online order, tell them through the same place. Oh, and let’s not get started with their brand new parking lot, that design was completed by a bunch of drunk designers. SERIOUSLY! ARE YOU KIDDING? There was going to be a huge fight because people could not get in and get out. So many horns going off, it was like driving through Atlanta during torrential rain and still felt safer then that parking lot. If they were so concerned about their employees doing the drive thru, then why would you still have curbside? Your employees are completely exposed doing curbside then they would have been under the brand new drive thru area. SMH At the end, they didn’t even have my order correct so this was definitely not a great experience and the manager really needs to rethink closing the drive thru again. Shame on you putting so many people in an exposed and dangerous...
