This is by far the worst Waffle House I have ever been to. If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. I just went there with my girlfriend no less than 30 minutes ago, and the service was so terrible. First, she began addressing us before even walking up to our table, my hair is long so the waitress mistook me for a girl, without even seeing my face, then became irritated with us after we didn’t answer her questions quickly enough, or maybe because we were upset over her being so rude. We ordered our drinks and the wait wasn’t too long, but the lady just comes and kind of throws us our drinks on the table, with aggression, I could definitely tell she was irritated with us. We just brushed it off and chalked it up to her not having any manners. Then, our food comes out and it looks horrible and sloppily thrown together. Our waitress comes and literally holds the food no more than five inches away from our faces in anticipation for us to grab our own food, when she could place it on the table. I went there for her to serve me, not for me to take the food rudley being shoved in my face. At this point, my girlfriend is clearly upset with the way we’re being treated in this supposed “professional” establishment. After the waitress realizes we’re not going to take the food from her hand, she literally slams it and slides it across our table to where it hit my coffee and the coffee spilled all over my food and the table...the waitress walks away with not 1 word being said. No apology. Nothing. So, my girlfriend and I didn’t touch the food, got up, and left at that point because we were both very upset. We were not going to give our hard earned money to trash service like that. All we wanted to come in for was a quick breakfast...we didn’t deserve to be treated this way under any circumstance. After we got in the car, the waitress walked outside and looked confused as to why were leaving, but any person with common sense could see her body language and attitude was not acceptable. I will never go back to this Waffle House EVER again. This was probably the worst I’ve ever been treated at ANY...
Read moreI am writing to express my concerns regarding an order I placed at your restaurant recently, which highlighted some serious food preparation issues.
I specifically requested that my egg whites be prepared using light butter and no oil due to dietary restrictions. Despite this, I observed the cook using oil. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, the same cook then used the oil scooper to remove the yolk from the bowl, thereby contaminating the egg whites with oil again.
I raised this issue with the manager, and while I appreciate his willingness to personally remake my order, I was concerned by his justification that oil residue in the vents and that oil is everywhere. This explanation does not address the cross-contamination caused by using the same utensils for different orders.
Additionally, while waiting for my new egg whites, my toast was left to sit and became cold, impacting the overall quality of my meal.
Given these concerns, I would recommend a review of the food handling and preparation processes at your location to prevent cross-contamination. Ensuring the use of separate utensils for different ingredients and adhering to specific customer requests is crucial for maintaining food safety and customer satisfaction.
I trust that you will address these issues to enhance the dining experience for all your patrons.
Thank you for your attention to this...
Read moreOkay, so if you're a foodie like myself and love the art and innovation from the use of food, but also have a junk food craving from time-to-time, don't bother asking the old traditional frumpy dumpy staff at this Waffle House location to explore their creativity . Me and my family wanted to explore having the Texas Bacon Patty Melt Platter made with two regular waffles instead of the Texas Toast. We were more than willing to pay the additional costs for 6 waffles in addition to the already established cost of the meal itself, but was told they were not willing to make it for us how we wanted it, without reason. Sad for them to see how they allowed money to walk out of the business.
Additionally, little does both the corporation and the staff understand how exploring new menu creations can boost their revenue in a currently failing economy. It is even more pathetic to be that programmed by choosing to halt yourself and the business model from achieving the next level of what success could look, feel, and taste like because you are stuck in the Stone Age.
I do hope that both the marketing dept. of Waffle House, other interested patrons, and their staff will read this as encouragement to add new and exciting menu items to their usual, monotonous, and dated menu. Keep in mind that as the world evolves, so should you in order to scale the business in a...
