They are late and misleading.

The business is horrible and unprofessional. I walked into the establishment and asked “Who do I speak to about pricing?” I showed them a picture of EXACTLY what I wanted, was quoted a price and advised what hair to get for boho. I bought the hair from the store next door and went back to confirm that I had the correct item. They confirm and confirmed, once again, the price. When I came in for my appointment, they were 30mins late. I brought exact change, including the tip, for my hair. I was advised, in the middle of my install that I was quoted the wrong price and that it would be more than what I was originally quoted. It was my birthday and I didn’t have any other option, so I paid them what I had and they got no tip.

Two years later. I went back to the shop for a loc bob. I brought someone with me as a witness. Again, I showed the picture, received a quote, got the name of the person who quoted me and I left. My appointment was at 8:30am. I brought my witness. I called the number at 8:45. The owner said she lived 5 minutes away. One person showed up at 8:56 but didn’t have a key. The owner pulled up two minutes later. She apologized, not for being late, but for the employee that showed up 2 minutes before her not having a key. I advised her of the price I received and showed her the picture and she went on an RANT about how what I wanted was going to take 4 hrs and how the price I received was wrong. I have Microlocs that were freshly interlocked with defined parts and I wanted a bob that stopped at my shoulders. All they had to do was grab a section and twist. No combs, parting, braiding or hot water necessary. They attempted to add an additional $100 to the price. I walked out. I will NEVER recommend or go back to this place ever!! If the owner cannot guarantee the pricing her employees give, maybe she should designate one person to do so or be there herself to verify. I don’t appreciate my time...

This place was extremely unprofessional and unorganized. I went to get my daughters hair braided and it was horrible. My daughter was in the chair for 5 hours and it was so uncomfortable that I left before they could finish. Her braids are not what I expected and looked heavy on her.

Not to mention they had their entire family in the shop after church, swear about 10 ppl and they started singing it was very uncomfortable. I really didn’t know what I walked into. My daughter started crying because she was a little tender headed and the owners mother bent down and pointed in my daughters face to stop crying.

I told her, don’t point at my daughter and the owner told her mom not to do that. At that point I didn’t care if they were finished or not I was ready to leave. Hi pay the girl and she didn’t even curl the ends of my daughter is breeds because I was just ready to leave her hair was unfinished.

This was the worst service ever, I would not recommend at all.. and I don’t even do reviews but ppl need to know about this place . They were also unprepared, no gel or anything...

Update: Still love them! My daughter loves them and they always do an awesome job on her hair. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the young teens in your life who need their hair done for school and all the other extracurricular activities they have going on. My daughter’s hair stay looking good for well over month. The braid technique is definitely on point and doesn’t damage your hair.

Only con is sometimes the wait is long, BUT it’s worth it!!! ☺️

Ms. Jacky and her entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Love the salon atmosphere and love the team work they demonstrate by helping each other out. My daughter had two people doing her hair which was great cause she was getting tired (4-5 hours is a long time) so this help speed things up. From what I can see all the ladies in the building was whipping up beautiful styles. Prices are very reasonable and I can tell the braids will last for some weeks. Hallelujah!! We will definitely be back to see Ms. Jacky and the team.
