Wendy's — Restaurant in Georgia

After waiting in the since though at the Wendy's at 599 Thornton Rd, Lithia Springs, Ga, all I can tell you is avoid this place at all costs. After arriving just after 2140 hrs, my order was simple. A burger. Total (finally) came to $8.44. When I arrived at the window, I have the cashier $9.00 in cash (a $5 and 4 $1's). He closed the window and it looked like he was taking someone's order so I sat there, he finished, walked off, came back, walked off, came back, walked off, (you get the scene). Eventually, he came back and saw me still sitting there, he opened the window and 'looked' at me. I said 'Um,... change?' To his response of 'Oh, yea' the window shut again and of he went again, came back off again ... ... ... and invested of giving me back my $0.66 in change, he gave me $0.76 in change, closed the window and (you know, of again). I pulled up to the pick up window, and eventually someone came to it and asked me what I had ordered. I told him to 'oh yea'. Time passes again, eventually the window opens and he hands me a bag. I pull forward decide to check it (let's face it this crew looked like they were just hired 5 minutes ago and didn't know anything about preparing food.

Sure enough, that burger was NOT at the proper serving temperature for meat and felt like it had came out of the cooler (MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATION). Arrived back at my residence a few minutes later, decided to cut into it just to make sure it was cooked. It APPEARED to be cooked inside, but threw it in the microwave for a couple of minutes just to make sure (the cheese was cold when I opened the wrapper at the Wendy's when left).

Having worked in the food service industry as a cook and store manager I know the importance of serving the food at the right temperature. This crew knew nothing about it (or just didn't care).

I will start by saying I come here once our twice a week. When it's late in the evening it's always great! However the few times I've came before 3/4 are starting to make me want food elsewhere. And this is honestly one of my favorite ones to go to, my sister used to work here years ago and it's always been pretty decent with their service and food production . That being said I literally just left not even 20min ago. My double stack had plastic in it smh I felt it while chewing pulled it out tried to chuck it up to bring burnt cheese but no it was indeed plastic. I didn't even call in because I don't want to get a new sandwich with more plastic that's careless to do when working with food . I also ordered a double stack meal about a week ago and my sandwich had one peice of meat. Who is on the sandwich bored not paying attention? I go when it's maybe 4 cars in the line never rush for my food because I don't know how many workers they do or don't have. I've worked in restaurants (including Wendy's) and these are careless mistakes that can easily be avoided by taking the time to unwrap things not rush em, double check to make sure the excess is off the food, make sure the correct sandwich is bagged ect. True people make mistakes but had a child bitten into that they would've choked and had I not been a person who is big on textures I may not have noticed it. The employees are usually polite also. I never had an experience like it this one there's one young lady she's young they work at the window I told her that I wanted a double biggie then she tried to tell me I couldn't get a medium drink or medium fries that they didn't do that and I'm like you're a lie I know for a fact why are you doing this I said she was worked at Whitney she just quit a mother so I had to go get a manager and she corrected it then she's sitting down there talking smack you know with the window pulled and looking at me just talking I mean the girl don't know what she was messing with Right now if I wouldn't disabled yes I would have took care of her but I'm just saying you don't do people like that and customers I don't even know how to manage it just stood there Looking at her do this running her mouth I'm talking to Amanda she's trying to talk over the manager at me and I had to tell her be quiet I'm talking to the manager to get it correct and I said a double with bacon and she was trying to say I didn't say it I know I said it playing this day cuz I had to repeat it three times and the drink size and she's trying to tell that they don't serve that I used to work at Wendy's too so I don't know why they letting people like that and this is not the first time I heard about that Wendy's over there they need the whoever the owners are they need to tighten up on the managers about these people send them home or either give them some training and they can't abide by...
