Hi Thanks for tuning in to Rosie on the Road with your Hostess with the Most Ess lol...Rosie. Okay usually I would have had lots of rants and raves about Zaxby's. They have never let me down before. I have always received quick careful and wonderful service from other locations. But tonight was a let down. My first time in this Lithonia location. My whole wait time in drive through was 38 minutes. No wait, listen to me Linda listen... It was 24 minutes in line. Then I ordered my food. I waited an extra 14 minutes at the window being periodically looked at by a mask-less young lady who had no gloves as she opened containers and handled food all after taking my card and handing it back to me. Gave me my lemonade with straw and continued to look over at me like ( your still here) No food... that would be why. Meanwhile another young lady came to the window. I thought she was coming to help and I was wrong.. She stood at the drive through counter, opened her own personal Zaxby's container. Picked up a piece of food broke it dipped it and went straight to her phone, as she picked up her phone taping away and eating food in full customer vision me (Of Course) and proceeded to eat her food while handling other peoples food. I was feeling a bit insulted As I waited for my food and she Is eating in my face... Hmmm. They definitely took there time. No urgency at all. I would have thought in all the time I waited on my food my fries would had been hot.
They were not.
People in the Drive Through line were leaving.
The handle time on that line must have sent a few alerts to the main office. I never waited in a drive through line so long. And I am a very patient person. These two young ladies at the window at 8pm on Saturday night eating talking mask at the neck touching food no gloves and during a pandemic. Look I understand young people nowadays and I used to be one. Lol. I am not trying to be a Karen or what ever... We can all have our days where we are not thinking. We all have those days when we are all about ourselves and dealing with things. I get it and I totally think that that should be considered. However, When you are at work at any front line position, you are the face of that company. You are the representative. And when we do not handle people right it breeds a bad reflection on the company we represent. They pay you to service the customer with respect and integrity. So do so. Lets just Just remember that. I have been in Guests Services/ Customer service and Customer Solutions for over 30 years and stuff happens. But be a little more considerate of the ones who are involved in the generation of the revenue that lands in your bank account rather it be weekly or biweekly dears. But. Hey... sooo in lue my report, like I said Zaxby's is great normally, Do not let this stop you from having a Rock Cluckin' Experience at Any other Zaxby's Location. Happy clucking everyone. You never know who you are serving. Please be mindful. And kind. And it is moments like this that really get us thinking. Who is that woman. Lol. Tune in next time for more with On the Road with Rosie... Stay healthy and...
Read moreMy fries were hot and fresh. My sandwich, one of the newer options to recently come out some BBQ cheddar thing I regret eating now, was completely cold and obviously had sat out for a long time. I had asked for lettuce to be added and they not only put the smallest amount of lettuce, but they charged me for it. The wait was long and the cashier Teprimam was rude over the drive-thru intercom when I wasn’t sure if she was ready for my order (because she wasn’t saying anything to respond to me when I asked questions) and she repeatedly had issues hearing me and understanding my simple order (rude when I clarified yet you can’t hear me soooo???).
That’s not my issue, though. I work in overnight healthcare and only stopped at this place because my blood sugar was dropping between jobs and I needed to eat fast on my way to work. This sandwich was so old that it immediately made me sick and I have been sick all night and even as I type this. I couldn’t eat during my lunch break fearing I’d vomit if I did. This was the only item I’d eaten since breakfast and I made that myself. It’s difficult to comfort people losing loved ones when you’re green with food poisoning, but I’m sure that this staff could care less. I couldn’t turn around to complain or return the items because I work multiple jobs and often have to run from one to another in one day which was the case at this time. I hope they had a good laugh at my expense. I’m glad I’m not someone with a depressed immune system because they could have killed them. I’m calling a manager as soon as they open today and making a report to the county health department. I’m never returning to this unprofessional...
Read moreAs I entered the door, saw only 1 other customer. That should have been a hint : It's lunchtime!!! cashier was nice, asked me whether I would dine in or take out. I said, dine in. I heard her yell, dine in. 10 min later, my food came to me in a take out container on a tray. I said, I asked for dine in, cashier turns around speaks to someone in the kitchen; he tosses a plate to her, which she turns and tosses towards my tray of food. I move over to ck the food out. Wing and things! the chicken fingers actually looks like things, little shriveled shrimps. Food not appealing at all. My first impulse to ask for my money back (had my aunt been with me, I wouldn't be sitting and writing a review: we would have our money and gone! My food-- cold wings, cold fries, all the sauce at the bottom of tray, very little on wings which are stuffed in one of the sides- compartment in the take out . just playing over food and Decided to just observe. Loud, outlandish conversation going on between workers! its lunchtime where are the customers??? Probably got the same treatment earlier that I got today. Trust me, I...
