I was in the drive through and it was moving surprisingly fast for a zaxbyâs so I was pleasantly surprised. I get to the speaker to place my order and in the middle of doing so the employee mumbled something and stoped responding. I sat there for a few minutes saying âexcuse me? Hello?â etc. only to hear nothing. I pull around to the window and was informed they were doing a shift change. The young lady who spoke to me at the window was Zariah, I believe and I apologize in advance if Iâm butchering the spelling of her name. When she told me of the shift change I said ok, I was unaware because I couldnât hear what was being said through the speaker. Some young man overheard us speaking and yelled, âwe told her to wait a minute and she didnât.â I was informed I needed to get back in line and reorder since I âdidnât waitâ. As I stated, I sat at the speaker for a few minutes unsure of what was happening. I thought maybe the box wasnât working and I needed to pull up. Iâm sure whoever is reading this has sat in a zaxbyâs line before. They are never short and the wait, while usually worth it, is still extensive. I asked if they could take my order at the window since there was a misunderstanding and was told no we canât do that. I began to get upset as the line had grown significantly and I didnât understand how or why this was my fault. Despite the poor customer service direction those behind her were instructing, Zariah took the time to help me, be compassionate and still offer a smile. Iâve worked in customer service and been a part of many shift changes. I have never nor have I ever instructed an employee to completely stop helping a customer in the middle of an order or assisting them to leave because it was time to clock out. If that was the case why not ask me to hold before ever taking the order rather than cause confusion and a negative experience for the customer?! Then tell the customer to go to the back of the line and start over because of your lack of professionalism and inability to efficiently run your team?! Iâve never experienced anything like this and I hope that my bringing attention to this now will prevent anyone else from having to experience it. I took note of Zariah because she was kind, compassionate and did something small that had a big impact especially when the rest of her team has clearly lost focus of their...
Read moreWent to Zaxby's for a wings & things meal on 12-20-19 at around 2:15pm. From the drive thru, I ordered the same thing I normally order with traditional wings of a particular sauce and fingerz dipped in sauce as well. The female taking my order sounded distracted and asked each question with an extended pause in between. I get to the window and there's a guy at the window instead, so I'm not sure who took my order. He took my payment and handed me the food. I pull off and then think to look in the bag, my order is wrong. The fingerz have no sauce and the wings are the sauce flavor my fingerz should have been. I jump back in the drive thru and hand the guy my food explaining what it should be. He leaves the drive thru window open and a female is back there going off: "IT ISN'T WRONG," "HE DIDN'T ORDER THAT," "THAT'S NOT WHAT HE SAID," etc. He realizes the window is still open and closes it. For real? I wasn't belligerent, loud, attitudinal or anything. Why are you carrying on like a lunatic and what reason do I have to lie about my order? The guy came back to the window and handed me my food: it's still wrong! I repeated myself, again, and I am then asked to pull up so my order can be brought out. When I get my order, the sauce is scant and I can tell these are the same fries that have been passed back and forth and are now cold. I didn't have the patience, or shoes, to go inside for a face-to-face interaction. The customer service at this location is "sometimey," you don't know what type of interaction you're going to have. All I can say...
Read moreThis is just crazy. I order the 5pc tender meal with double fries, the wings and things meal, and a grilled chicken Cobb salad. All of this was like $45,Highway robbery .Iâm so disappointed in the customer service at this place. The lady that took the order was very sweet. I pay and get my food, I pull up to check my food and noticed for the amount of money I spent there was very little food and they forget the double fries. I called the manager who explained that the fries are only 5 ounces and double fries is 8 ounces. But if something is doubled itâs twice as much which would be 10 ounces, right. I went back around drive thru to get the missing fries. I pull up and explain what Iâm missing. I asked if they could just bring me the missing fries, as they often have customers to pull up or park to bring them their food. I hear we are busy and so much hesitation to want to give me the fries. The girl that took my order finally stated to park to bring it out and still had to wait at least another 10 -15 minutes. This is what the plates looked like. I will not be going back. Sorry for long post. Excellent Customer...
