Honestly I love zaxby’s but this particular time was honestly terrible …..ordering food was easy it was once I got my meal. I picked it up and it felt kind of light so I opened it and checked it as one does i got a 6pc tender meal I’m expecting something reasonable for the money it cost with a side of cheddar bites $23.30 (roughly) total……. I don’t enjoy coleslaw so i usually ask for an extra serving of fries…….. after checking it I walked to the counter and ask is this all I get for like $6.19 the cost of the cheddar bites it was like barely a handful and the lady says yes that’s what you get cause we measure out 6 ounces of cheddar bites I said ok and I also asked this is all the fries I get she then explains that we weight the fries at 8 ounces as well I asked could she take the cheddar bites back and give me a side of fries she didn’t even answer the question she just stared at me the. Said if you don’t want it I can give you a refund on the cheddar bites which I reluctantly said yes cause I realize this wasn’t going to go any where….after leaving I looked at the reviews and saw one that stuck out about the tenders being roughly the same size as the sauce packaging honestly it’s kinda sad to see zaxbys going down hill like this… its used to be enjoyable as a kid with nic nacs on the walls the decor is so plain it’s like watching paint Dry… the interaction of being told as a customer that the amount you pay for is weight was a bit flustering….experience Disappointing………I came back not long after to ask for the manager. Guess who the manager is…. The lady who gave me the original refund for the cheese bites I ask for the corporate number to make it easier on myself and she walks to the back for a good bit of time just come back and tell me that after getting off the phone with who ever told her that there is no corporate number but we can take your name & number down and the general manager will give you a call which I kinda doubt… but we shall see…… to make it funnier is the idea of taking the food back after giving the refund and then having to wait for the refund to process will forever make this a comedy show….. (I didn’t include in the original post but now after the lie about their not being a corporate number I DO NOT recommend eating...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of this Zaby's, and the overall experience left me thoroughly dissatisfied. From the excruciatingly long drive-through waiting time to the bare minimum staff working and the apparent lack of effective management, my visit was nothing short of a regrettable ordeal.
The waiting time at the drive-through was nothing short of a test of patience. I found myself stuck in line for what felt like an eternity, with no end in sight. The sluggish pace of service was incredibly frustrating, and it was evident that the staff was struggling to keep up with the demand. It left me questioning the efficiency and organization of the entire operation.
Adding to the disappointment was the apparent lack of staff on duty. The few employees present seemed overwhelmed and overworked, attempting to handle an influx of customers without the necessary support. This resulted in a visible drop in service quality, as orders were muddled, and the once-efficient Zaby's experience was reduced to a chaotic and disorganized mess.
Equally disheartening was the sense of poor management permeating the entire establishment. It was clear that the staff's struggles were not solely due to a busy day, but rather a reflection of inadequate management. A well-run establishment should be able to handle peak hours without compromising the quality of service, but unfortunately, Zaby's fell short in this regard.
The lack of attention to customer experience was evident, and I left the premises feeling more frustrated than satisfied. Given the combination of the interminable waiting time, understaffing issues, and poor management, I have no intention of returning to this particular Zaby's location. It's disheartening to see a once-reliable establishment fall so far below expectations, and I hope that the management takes swift action to rectify these glaring issues before they lose more...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I have never felt as unwelcome as I did at this location. I had an order of the boneless wings meal with a side of the cheddar bites. As I’m ordering my food I hear this lady saying “my god” huffing at every little thing that I ordered. She quickly tells me my total and orders me to pull forward. Once I get to the window she asks if I had a boneless wings and things meal which I politely correct her and tell her that my order is incorrect. Thinking she fixed it, I give her my card but when I look at the receipt I noticed she didnt change that nor added my cheese bits (which I know she heard because she had added more of her commentary after I asked for them). Mind you, the window was opened the whole time. I try to get her attention but she was too busy yelling at the rest of the workers, even the worker that tried to fix her mistake. She doesn’t respect her coworkers or the customers. I don’t know her name but she is an older white lady around 5’3 with salt and pepper hair. Another lady came and “fixed” the situation around 7 minutes later adding the cheese bits with the boneless wings and things. She tried to gas light me thinking I was getting a deal because I would’ve originally paid around 14 dollars when I’ve only paid 12. This was my lunch break and I only get 45 minutes to enjoy it. I would’ve left if it would’ve made sense to eat somewhere else but she took so much of my time. I will NOT be...
