Do not order from this place. Food isnt anywhere near decent chinese food and you can call me a food critic. I KNOW good food. I ordered from them yeeeeeears ago and haven't ordered since until last night and i regreted it but i was desperate. (No ride and it was too cold for MARTA). Okay first off, customer service has to be at LEAST half decent/acceptable. The young lady who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude. I started by stating I'd like to place a delivery order and she proceeded to ask me for my number. Well i always try to speak slow and clearly over the phone to avoid hearing errors but she KEPT going ok..ok...ok after each number like i was really talking THAT slow! Ok ignored that against by better judgment and she asked me for my address so i start to give it to her. She cut me off right after the street number and went, "What's the apartment number??!" Huh? Maybe they already had me in their system from ages ago but damn you didn't have to cut me off like that! I finally got fed up and asked to have someone else take my order. She initially claimed they were too busy...yea too busy to miss money? I told the guy about her and gave him my order. No apology or anything. Now on to the food: I got chicken fried chicken with sweet & sour chicken. Their chicken is breaded and you'll have to dip it IN the sauce. The skin of the chicken is soggy. You bite into layers of soggy skin before getting to the meat. The chicken fried rice was decent and the tea.....i just didn't taste tea in it. Im a self proclaimed foodie so i know good food. This aint it. I've had much better like the one in the kroger plaza on north decatur road. Avoid hongkong...
Read moreToday at 2pm for my lunch break I decided to order a nice meal for myself from this restaurant. After about 45 minutes, I noticed that the delivery driver had not arrived to my job. I called the restaurant for a status on the order and the cashier immediately interrupted me and said, “it’s on the way!” I felt attacked and not comfortable with asking about food that I bought. Soon a total of 75 minutes passed from the time after I ordered andpayed over the phone; I called the restaurant once more. This time, the employees switched between each other and kept me on hold as they spoke Chinese in the background. There was no sense of urgency for my order. They even attempted to spout lies about me not having paid and that my order was brought back to get me to get off the phone. I teach at a summer program and time is of the essence when transitioning a class of 25 students in between activities. I want our community to be aware of good customer service and also when customer service is not present at ALL businesses. I had to eventually call my bank to stop their transaction from going through - they didn’t want to give me a refund and said I had to wait 24 hours without...
Read moreDelivery was quicker then i thought only took 30-40 Mins, the deli ery man was able to find my home. The food wasn't AMAZING as i know Lo Mein can taste. I purchased vegetable Lo Mein and it had no visible vegetables in it besides mushrooms, onions and extremely small strings of cabbage. Vegetable lo mein is supposed to have carrots, broccoli and bamboo shoots aswell. Mine had none of that. The Lo Mein was really oily, i know take out can be oily but this was overally oily Noodles. Smh chinese resturants from when i was a kid just aren't the same anymore. Where is the vegetables? I also ordered plain fried chicken, it was good not greasy it tastes how i remembered chineses fried chicken to taste. But one wig out of the 8 that i got seemed like it spoiled it had a funny smell. The other 7 wigs was fine. I like the fact that the menu is so affordable, i think this is one of those you get what you pay for situations. But I've had cheap chinese food that was good overall tasty and perfect. I just wish it was better. I will order one last time a new set of food. If its bad i will know this isn't the...
