I have more bad experiences with this restaurant than I do good. This time I was told that there was an hour wait for chicken because the order ahead of me was for $400. My first thought is Popeye’s is out of chicken?! That’s a thing that should never happen. My second thought was that there should be a company and/or store policy requiring orders that might otherwise shut the restaurant down must be placed in advance rather than the drive through. 3 cars immediately ahead of me pulled out of line. Just imagine how many cars they were going to have to turn away over the next 45 minutes! In its simplest form, it’s much better to turn away one customer so that you don’t have to turn away, what, 50? And you wouldn’t necessarily have to turn them away. You would simply tell them that it will take an hour to fill their order. Look, you’re going to sell the chicken one way or another. It’s a matter of how many people you have to turn away disappointed; 1 or 50. The previous time I tried to buy chicken here they’d closed early without any explanation. I chalked that up to pandemic employment shortage issues. This time it’s clearly due to a poor management decision. But the last 2 times I’ve gone to this store I’ve left without being able to...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this Popeyes location this past weekend.
It took 10 mins for someone to respond to the drivethru speaker. Also, after I paid for my food the employees told me to park in the parking lot to wait. I waited in my car for 20 mins. During this time you can see the employees waiting around, playing inside as well as talking to their friends outside.
After the wait, I called the store three times. Someone answered the 3rd time and they said that they forgot my order. I waited another 10 mins before an employee walked outside and gave me my food. The other employees were still playing around and talking to their friends in the drive-thru line.
This was a terrible experience and this Popeyes location has had a reputation of having the worst customer service for a while. I'm very disappointed in your employees. They treat this Popeyes store like it's their house instead of a place of business. I understand most of the team members are really young but they absolutely have to learn how to take their job seriously, learn customer service skills, and develop a strong work ethic!
If there isn't a change soon, you'll definitely see less and less customers at this store. This...
Read moreI placed an online order to pickup inside. Got to the location and the door to the entrance was locked. Had to get in the drive thru line and waited 20 mins. to get my order. I tried calling them while I was in line and no one answered. When I got to the speaker, I advised I had an online order. After 2-3 mins. of them trying to find my order, they figured it out. When I got to the window, the young lady asked me what did I have. After I showed her on my phone, she responded telling me another young lady would help me. The other young lady came to the window and stated yes we got your order. So the 1st young lady comes back and hands me my order and asked did you pay already. I stated yes I did. Then I reminded her that when you order online you have to pay. Meanwhile, when I pulled up to leave, there were at least 4 young men (employees) outside the opposite entrance door sitting, smoking and laughing. Meanwhile the line was steady growing. My opinion, they shouldn't all take their break at the same time. Maybe 2 at a time, so that the line could keep moving. Bottom line...there was no reason for me to order online...
