The last time I ordered my food was slow being prepared and when I received the meal it was cold.

I hope that the cooperation gets better employees. Train the employees better. This location is going to hell . Five years ago this location was in better business. Where did you people find your management team?

The managers speak to employees as if they are children instead of adults. The management is rude and disrespectful.

There is a Time and a place to speak to employees off the floor in their office not on the floor where customers can hear them being rude and disrespectful.

The management needs to realize they are employees of cracker Barrel just as much as the cashier's , host, waitress and waiters, cooks and prep Cook, and dishwashers.

The management needs to realize when they are stressing not only their employees but also the customer experience.

(If your company is in need of hiring trainers for your restaurants

I would be happy to go in and train besides I am a past employee of Cracker Barrel from Antioch, Tennessee. )

I have never eaten yellow country gravy, cold hard and undercooked food, or experienced such awful customer service,

This is the second time I've visited this location The first time in 2010 the manager was cursing out employees so loud the customers could hear the noise.

Now it's 2024 you all have hired managers that treat their employees like kids and have such filthy attitudes they do not know how to train cooks or know how to prepare meals .

The host doesn't no how to sale it's on the show room floor. Because the manager doesn't know how to train for retail sales.

I wouldn't be surprised if the kitchen is clean or the dishes are sanitized properly.

I am surprised that this location is still open for business.

Unfortunately my husband wanted a meal to go there today and I begged him not to attempt to order in fear of food poisoning.

I told him I will not eat there again after the yellow gravy and poor customer service.

As I sit outside waiting for him. Customers were returning to their car's complaining about the slow service and cold meals and incorrect orders.

PLEASE TRAIN AND RETRAIN UNTIL THE EMPLOYEES GET IT RIGHT.

My husband had to wait one hour for his meal he paid for an undercooked meal. Nasty cooks.

I return the meal and demand a refund.

That took another hour just to get a freaking manager to refund my money. Because the manager was cooking because they had no cooks.

I strongly suggest that the corporate close down this location for two weeks to train their employees and an inspection is strongly encouraged or close this restaurant completely.

This is absolutely disgusting.

Cracker Barrel is a family owned company that has a clean reputation that displays a kindness, understanding, pleasurable, eating and shopping environment experience.

It's never a good experience.

No wonder this location does not sell alcohol the manager and employees might steal , or deny the customers..

Nasty...

The Good: The food was really good! I love the Carolina BBQ Chicken Tenders. The Bad: The atmosphere wasn't ugly, but the table we sat at was wet and the floor around us was dangerously slippery. The Ugly: After standing around waiting to be seated for several minutes (and it was just after peak lunch time; not crowded at all), I finally had to ask employees at the checkout if I could get seated. They said they would find the person who does the seating. About 5 minutes later, we were seated. We got our drinks fast and asked for a couple of minutes to look at the menu. About 10 minutes later, we ordered our food. And then we waited... and waited... and waited. Again it was not crowded. Our waitress would walk by once in a while and check on us and apologize for the long wait. When the wait closed in on an hour, I told her I know it isn't her fault, but the wait is getting a bit ridiculous. She said she would go put some pressure on the kitchen. About 5 minutes later, our food came out. Oops! We didn't have silverware. We mentioned that and our waitress returned and said they don't have any because it is all being washed. That is so ridiculous that instead of being mad, it was becoming comical. We asked if they had plastic utensils and she said she would get us that. She returned a couple of minutes later with regular utensils (they looked clean, but it made us a bit uncomfortable). As we started our food, we realized we never got the included cornbread. We just said screw it, we weren't going to even try at that point. When we were wrapping up, we griped to the waitress in a nice way. We told her we know isn't her fault, but everything her is ridiculous. She seemed to agree, but also seemed to be holding back on what she really wanted to say. It was as if she wanted to complain right along with us, but couldn't because they give her a paycheck every week or so. I get that. I understand we went just after peak lunch hour (we arrived a few minutes after 1:00. Maybe they were going through shift changes. Maybe employees were on break. Maybe they are incredibly understaffed. However, they were not crowded at all. Nobody is waiting ahead of us to be seated. I doubt the food is prepared from scratch for every meal. Out of clean silverware is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. Lastly, my parents go there every so often, but they say the last few times they have been, it's the same thing basically. It takes forever to be seated (it it like they don't know you are there) and it takes forever to get your food ordered and served. For...evvvvv...errrrr. Management seems to need a better game plan. Even if it is staffing issues (quantity or quality), they still need a better game plan. I hope they get...

When we saw this listing on Google and saw it had a 3.7 rating, I said "but it's Cracker Barrel it can't be that bad." Upon entering the restaurant I made the comment "I'm beginning to see why they have a 3.7 rating." We waited at the host stand for 7 minutes until a manager came by and asked if we had been greeted. She sat us at a table. We waiting another 15-20 minutes before anyone came over to greet us. Several servers walked by and could see we were waiting without even saying anything. I was about to get up and talk to the hostess when Kelvin came up to the table. It was the same guy that was standing at the host stand talking for several of those 15-20 minutes. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time. The food took so long I was wondering if Kelvin had struck up a conversation with someone in the back and our food was just hanging out in the window. I ate half my meal with no drink. Finally I got up and stood by the door to the kitchen and waited for a manager to see what I needed. I told him we needed drink refills and pointed to where we were sitting. He said "oh I know who that server is. One second." Apparently he has to go find Kelvin because it was a few minutes before they both came out in the dining room and the manager pointed at our table. Like ... Kelvin, did you forget you had a table? We went to the register to pay and the cashier was very nice. Wish I remembered her name. We weren't even going to complain but she overheard our side conversation at the register and asked if we needed a manager. We said no because we weren't looking for anything free. We just knew Kelvin needed to find a new job or get better at the one he has. In the end, a rating of 3.7 for this location is...

Country Bold: what's that, it's taking the natural goodness of fruit, herbs and spices, and fresh cut green beans with a nice breast tenderloin to make a tasty meal that's pleasing to the senses. Not to mention the buttermilk biscuits on the side. Eaten with some old fashioned iced tea and you've got a country party I your mouth...😎. I do have to mention since it goes without saying that I was there for more than the food. I had a chance to observe the staff's interaction with each other and their guest. I also had the opportunity to linger a while in their country store, I mean, who wouldn't...there are as it is with all Cracker Barrels a plethora of things to look at and choose. I found the store staff engaging and helpful when I explained a situation that occurred and had already sought a solution. She contacted the manager who came out and we discussed the matter again and as she noted he indicated that he would work on getting it resolved. A Better way and sometimes not the most comfortable thing for both sides, is to pick a time and location to talk about what occurred so that a business has a chance to implement a solution, whether it's yours or not. In this case, I didn't really offer a solution directly to the manager (I did in talking to the store clerk but we were bouncing ideas); my point was to bring it to there attention since in this case it's one of those tricky situations that you don't always catch....and lessons for the public, yes, be diligent, but be patient and respectful when bringing information forward. It goes a long way. 😉

I will not return. I am so angry. We had a party of 14 after a funeral and our meals were fine. We all had drinks, our food arrived hot and delicious, and while we had to wait a bit, that was understandable as we were a large group. Our server did a great job. Before we left, I bought 5 candy sticks with a $20 bill. I didn't realize until several minutes after the purchase that I didn't get all my change because my payment was rung up as $10 rather than $20. I went back in to try and fix the issue and the lady who checked me out, as I explained what happened, was immediately defensive. She told me she gave me back my correct change, that my candy cost $1.09 (that was correct) and that I had paid with $10 and she had given me back $14. I told her I was given back $8.91 and tried to explain that she had counted it out and placed it in my hand as she counted to 8, and couldn't have given me $14 because that's incorrect math in every way, but she just would not let me talk. I tried again to explain and she kept talking over me to tell me I was wrong and I finally got frustrated enough that I had to leave. I work at a restaurant and have learned that while the customer isn't always right, you at least hear them out. You never ever argue with customers! That is NOT good customer service. Y'all can count that drawer on the very end closest to the host stand and you'll see that you're $10 over, you can check your cameras to see how I paid, but that's okay. It's just $10 but it's the principle of it all. I will not return, ever.

My birthday lunch day! Was seated by the window in the back corner wall while there was plenty of room in the middle of the restaurant. Seated by a long table of young ladies who were done with their meal but obviously waiting on something. The server addressed them a couple of times but never came to our table to greet us or ask what we wanted to drink. We waited for about 15 minutes. We decided to leave after I witnessed the server still focused on the large group at the long table as she paces from one side of the kitchen to the next. As my husband and I are leaving, I inquire about a clock that we were interested in at the shop. A kitchen employee with a hair net on her hair is walking up as we are talking with the cashier. I instantly knew that she thought we were with that group of young ladies. But held her peace as she listened to our conversation. No dine n dash for us. We never received a greeting or a cup of water. Left the menus on the table. We went to Longhorn.
