Blue 32 Sports Grill — Restaurant in Gilbert

Met a friend for dinner and a few drinks. Dinner was average, over priced, onion rings tasted like they were saturated in old oil and the drinks were very small. Half the size of a regular short (never seen this before). We never complained or caused any fuss since our goal was to just catch up and have girl time. Without asking, the tab showed up at our table when we walked away to the bathroom which was disgustingly dirty. We were confused to find the tab on the table since neither of us asked for it. Our assumption is the previous server was done for the night since we ended up with a new server (no warning). Meanwhile all dishes, old drink cups, etc. just left on our table, never cleaned off. We ordered another round of drinks with the new server since the wait time for our uber was 1 hour. After our round the manager came out and told us we were not going to be served anymore and had to leave. We were both in shock and confused since we were given no explanation as to what the issue was. We were two women eating, talking amongst ourselves and not bothering anyone. The server then came out to give us our last tab and I asked her what the issue was. We were told, "she did not feel comfortable serving us". The couple at the table next to us was in shock. Neither of us were drunk nor misbehaving in any way. We will not be returning there especially after watching people falling out the door of the place while we sat outside waiting for our ride. Really good atmosphere, and the staff was surprisingly cordial and welcoming. One of the wait staff came over, while we were waiting for our table, and asked us if we wanted something from the bar. We were seated shortly after having our drinks hand delivered.

We both ordered the ribeye entree, after hearing great reviews from a coworker.

The accompanying smashed potatoes were crispy on the outside, soft & tender on the inside. Perfectly salted and parmesaned (can you use cheese as an adjective?).

Big stalks of broccoli, buttered, but undercooked, almost raw.

Black & blue coleslaw was very good. If you like blue cheese then you'll love this. Looking forward to trying it on a pulled pork sandwich.

Their ribeye was bursting with flavor. Tender & juicy. NOT what you'd expect from a neighborhood sports grill. The flavor rivaled Houston's. I can't say enough good things about it. We ordered it medium-rare, more on the rare side.

The manager came to check on us twice. Once when we had to return my wife's steak, as it was overcooked. He was very accommodating and had the replacement out in record time. With steak, sometimes this happens, but it is how you remedy the situation that makes for a great experience.

Came here to watch Sunday football.

First off, Kasidy was out server and she was da bomb. Attentive and, for the first time in my life, she admitted, rather than blaming the kitchen for being slow, that she forgot to put in an order for us. Someone was admitting their fault?!?! Whoa!! In today's culture?!? So awesome. We're going OVER that 20% Tip!

Lots of TVs to watch the games and they have a map to tell you which games are on which TVs.

The food was good! We only had some appetizers and kids meals, So no entrees.

Appetizers: calamari was good and cooked very well. Was a little salty though...

Onion rings were really good and cooked well. They came out hot and fresh which is really important for onion rings as they can become soggy especially with the type of batter they used.

Kids meals: We had the chicken tenders with side broccoli and mini cheeseburgers with side strawberries.

Both were cooked very well and everything was very fresh. You could tell them any cheeseburgers were actually made there and not just something out of the package. Or if they were they were pretty good!
