The Whining Pig Gilbert — Restaurant in Gilbert

I absolutely love The Whining Pig! This is quickly becoming my favorite spot in Gilbert - which is important because it is close to home and I will be visiting frequently!

This last visit I came with five others and we all sat up against the chalkboard and played board games while sipping on beer and wine. Although it is a very small space it was still big enough for each of us to feel comfortable and have an amazing time! Try it out but don't wait around for a big spot, you'll get lucky for a few chairs or else you'll be standing.

I've been here twice now and each time I end up staying much longer than anticipated because the drink selections, games and atmosphere. I love the chill dive vibe, giving off a very comfortable and throwback feel. I feel like a kid again with the benefits of being an adult. I already can't wait to go back!

So today was my third visit to this location and I had a negative interaction with one of the bartenders, her name was Peyton. My first two visits were great, one of the bartenders name was Alex and she was so friendly and amazing. Unfortunately today I accidentally spilled 1/3 of a glass with cider, and this bartender decided to pitch a hissy fit about it. So dramatic, and she did it in front of me and other customers! Like seriously, the situation wasn't that dire, it is a bar after all, lol! This was my first drink this evening, and will be my last drink at this spot. That's too bad because I actually did enjoy my first two visits here. What this Peyton server did was completely out of line, rude, & disrespectful. Maybe she needs to find another job where she's not required to wipe a little bit of liquid off the counter. 🤨

Ok so i went here with my brother and my lady few days ago... Now being that i dont like bars or pubs or clubs.. This place was pretty darn inviting. First off upon entry... Mind blown with the welcoming and non-aggressive atmosphere. As well as all the different type of beers they have to offer... We're talking from wheat, ales, IPAs, etc. If you are a beer or even a wine drinker... Love a casual, out of the house, setting... As well as being with your friends in a comfortable setting.. I highly recommened this place. Affordable and truly a good place to go for a few beers with the brothers/sisters &hubby/wifiey. Enjoy and drink...
