My chicken was dry and pieces were small. I am a regular at pollo loco and I’ve noticed how the product has decreased their taste, portion and employees are lacking customer service. Not referring to all but this specific location. I placed my food order to dine-in and the when I received my order I let the cashier know I had requested for corn to be excluded. She took the food back and the person preparing the food got annoyed and started shaking her head asking her if I had requested my food with no corn. The cashier did not answer her. But I let the person in the food line know that I had requested no corn. She prepped my food but this time with smaller portions than the first incorrect order I had previously received. Read moreI ordered food and sat down to eat. The entire time I was eating the teenager/cashier was sweeping the dining room. Kicking up dust and dirt in the air while I was trying to eat. I started my 3 piece meal, trying to enjoy it while he swept behind me the whole time. When he stopped I looked back and he was on his phone. But he dissapeared after I kept turning around. While i was eating i started smelling a chemical very, very, very strong. He was mopping the floor with a chemical cleaner. I no longer could taste my food. It would be trying to eat with a fresh can of paint under your nose. I asked him to stop as that was all I tasted, breathing in heavy toxic chemicals while trying to eat.
