I'd give them NEGATIVE STARS if possible. My parents stopped by to get a 12 PC family meal (6/4/22 @ 4:30-500pm). They ordered at the counter. DARWINA (manager) on duty called a Spanish speaking employee solely because my father (who speaks perfect English) looked hispanic. The employee took the order and then DARWINA went on to prepare the meal. We got half the box of fries with old and cold fries. We got chicken that smelled horrible. We looked inside the chicken and it was UNDERCOOKED. Yep still pink!!!. We tried to bake it through but it was so saturated in old oil that it smoked horrendously. The coleslaw was soup which also smelled foul. The MAC N' Cheese was stuck to the black bowl it comes in. Obviously, so old it had now burnt into the bowl. The mash potato was cold and old too. Smelled rancid. The only thing half-way decent were the cold biscuits and cold gravy. We tried to give it to our dogs but they wouldn't even eat it.
Not only discrimination based on my parents "hispanic" appearances but also consistently inedible food.
Called 526pm and spoke with Darwina who stated she remebers my parents and that she called Jesus over because "I couldn't understand him because he was ordering a 4 piece family meal". What?!?!?! I let her know my dad speaks English perfectly daily with people since he has owned and managed various businesses for over 3 decades. So what was the Spanish speaking employee for?? She was just as rude on the phone. Nothing to say except try to make-up various reasons why she immediately called a spanish speaking employee over. I advised her this is discrimination. I asked what position she held and to my amazement she is a manager. (What in the kfc???!!) Well I asked for her manager she said Trinity was available. Great I thought! BIG MISTAKE. Not great, Trinity said she was the GM. I told her that happened, no receipt, and the inedible food we got. She said she would talk to her staff but her tone was extra condescending. I said someone who's discriminates desperately needs more training. To which Trinity responded with "if someone hired her as a manager and she's not good at her job, it's their fault and nothing to do with me". Someone needs a few management training courses and it's not just Darwina!!! It all made sense now. How can you expect adequate service and edible food if even management demonstrates ZERO BASIC management skills, accountability, or basic manners? We can't expect too much even with the increase in the minimum wages??
At 546pm I called customer service. Yes I know not worth my time but at this point we are on our way to an actual restaurant. I spoke with Alex @ Corporate office who was very pleasant and disturbed by what I told him. I quoted what the "managers" stated and he was so appalled. According to Alex someone will be talking to higher management to ensure this doesn't happen again.
Will they do it or not??? Who knows but one thing is for certain don't hire any average Betty off the street to be manager when they have zero pride in their work or their staff. Being old doesn't quantify to leadership. It takes merit KFC!!! Also management 101 everything that happens is your responsibility and everyone who works for you and with you is your responsibility.
Don't eat here guys save your money for food you can actually eat, served by people who want to serve their customers with respect and tolerance.
Hope this helps! Have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to drive through, only one at drive through, ordered one chicken tenders basket with mashed potatoes⦠they asked me to drive around for them to have my food āout in a minuteā. My roommate applied at a job at this location and told me that the manager lived out of his car; he kept all the shirts, badges and hats for the employees in his car. When she went in for her interview, the manager named Mark, badmouthed other employees currently working at this location, stating they were bad eggs and that he had a desire to rebuild his employee team; which is incredibly unprofessional and very poor business ethic for any manager to engage in. Best of all, after my roommate decided to not work there, Mark called and left a voicemail on my roommates phone (which we still have for legal reasons) that if she did not return the shirt/badge/hat by that exact day he called, threatening that he would involve the authorities would be involved, and claimed that "he knows where she lives," because of the address on her application. I reported this person to KFC hotline for help/comments and even the rep on the line said what a terrible way to run an establishment. After making my complaint I was informed that this location is 100% franchised out, and KFC actually has no jurisdiction over it. That this owner can charge, hire and do whatever they want, even though they represent the KFC brand. Even though the franchise owner was contacted and told of this complaint I had made, no changes were made, Mark still manages this location. I highly suggest avoiding this location if you are looking for a job, and I highly advise visiting one of the other locations very nearby to get your meal, instead. Read all the one-star reviews, this location struggles because of this terrible management, why give them any benefit...
