Froyoholic Gilbert — Restaurant in Gilbert

This business has potential and I enjoy the froyo as I live right around the corner. However, there are a few BIG changes IMO that need to be made. I notice you’ve been closing early, probably due to staffing or just not enough people coming by as it’s empty every time I’ve shown up.

If you’re going to close early, you should add it on Google if possible so people don’t waste their time. I stopped coming because the last 3 times i came by you were closed and I don’t want to waste my time when there are other businesses I can go for a treat that are reliable in terms of open hours. And if you can’t pay someone to work right now, have the owner come in if possible, at least so you don’t lose the small amount of loyal customers you have.

The smoothie bowls can be a bit too icy in texture and should be more smooth IMO. They’re more snow cone like than a “smoothie” but still taste alright.

You’re called “Froyoholic” but have 3 options for froyo flavors and way more options for the smoothies. I imagine it would be more lucrative and customers would enjoy you more if you threw out the smoothie options and put effort into getting another froyo machine or 2. With your name, they’re coming for froyo, not smoothies, and 3 options is not enough to compete with any other froyo businesses.

Customer service could be improved, especially because it’s mostly empty when I’m in there. There’s so much room for connection with the people who come in and connection is what makes people come back, not just froyo. The CS is awkward at best.

As I said, the business has potential as the interior is cool and you’re in a good location, yet the reasons I mentioned are probably why you’re always empty. There is a huge grocery store and tons of popular businesses right around you, you can be seen from the road, an easy walk for families in the area, absolutely no reason you should go out of business if you take the time to make your location an enjoyable place to be. I am writing this review and am disappointed as this is now the 2nd night in a row they are closed during normal business hours and the 6th overall. What made tonight the worst was that I called to confirm their hours because of my experience having showed up last night only for them to be closed and they told me over the phone that they were closing at 8:30. So I showed up at 8:20 to find the lights off in the store completely closed. I have been a very loyal customer to this place and have been a steady customer since I discovered it. So this is super disappointing and very upsetting as this is not something that I see as a successful business if they continue this. Went Super Bowl day place was closed. No hours were posted on the door for them being closed that day. Messaged on Facebook for them to tell me they only post on their social media. Well guess what not everyone has social media! Nor does everyone follow you on social media! Plus the only “social media” they posted on was Instagram not even their own Facebook.
