Every Starbucks location I have ever patronized has in common a streamlined and thoughtful approach to customer service and the purveyance of the coffee craft.
That said, the people behind the bar at my beloved Cooper/Warner location, bring something else altogether to the experience of a morning coffee… connection.
The world we live in can often seem divided, and I truly believe that for many Starbuck customers, the daily, or nightly, or afternoon visit is about more than a good cup of coffee. The decision to heed or decline that age old, often chalkboard scribed, charge to “please come again” is one that teeters precariously on the warmth and personality of the baristas.
I don’t know how much of Julia’s up-beat energy comes from a Starbucks SOP manual, or if Hannah and PJ learned compassion and attentiveness at a Seattle 3-day conference. The entire staff at the Cooper/Warner Starbucks location demonstrate a refreshing humanity, daily honoring and celebrating the tastes and preferences of their customers, customers that arrive excited, stay longer than they planned, and leave smiling.
At a good coffee shop, that sort of connection and community is a wonderful bonus to a delicious cup-a-Joe. At a great coffee shop, the coffee is the bonus, that deeper and more meaningful draw being the nascent and, often overlooked, spirit of kinship and community… a warm drink the baristas at Cooper/Warner brew daily,
Thank you to Julia, PJ, Hannah, Olivia, Ash and Pete, Amin, and every unnamed, though equally celebrated barista at everyone’s favorite Starbucks location.

Read moreI have visited this location 3 times and everytime i have waited 30 minutes. First 2 times was in the drive thru. So this time i went inside. When i walked in there was only one couple in the line. I ordered my coffee and waited. The other couple got there order. I watched as all the mobile orders got their coffees, about 10 orders in front of me. Then 20 minutes later another group walked in and ordered. They got there order and i was still waiting. I walked up to the counter and asked where my drink was. I was told that they did not have my sticker and started to make my drink. The only response i got was "sorry, we are trying our best". I get that but when a customer is giving a concern such as that more should be done. I left early enough to go in and get a coffe. I was still late for work. I am going to try a...
Read moreEdit- tried it out since its been a few months and still one of the closest to my house. 3 cars including me took 21 minutes to get through the drive through. The two cars in front of me both had one drink. No apology or anything. Still rude employees regardless if there was an apology.
If you want to get through the drive thru faster than 20 minutes- don't go here. They operate at a snails pace, no matter how many cars are there. I've frequented this location at least 7 times because it's the closest to my home, and each time they have messed up my fairly simple drink. If you ask them to fix it, be prepared for MAJOR attitude and eye rolling. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile to the...
