This location is horrible. Yeah I get that it's McDonald's and I don't expect the best service but I expect decent service. My first experience was sitting in the drive thru for 15 plus minutes. That was my mistake because I was in a hurry that night. It took me 15 minutes just to get up to the window. It then took another few minutes to get my food because they didn't know what my order was. The manager, Colleen, was running the drive thru. I'm usually not the person to complain for crappy service sometimes. I have worked in the food service industry before, I get it. But this confusion of them not even have my order ready when I got up to the window was insane. Especially when I had already waited for 15 minutes when there weren't that many cars ahead of me. In the confusion of it all the manager didn't even give me my drink! I had to go back through the drive through just to get my drink and she then decided to offer up a free meal next time. I thought okay yeah thanks for trying to help.
Now let's fast forward to tonight. I decide to get my free meal. It's 915 and I'm waiting to be taken car of at front. I hear Colleen and another girl complaint about work problems. Colleen makes eye contact with me twice. TWICE. The girl at drive thru makes eye contact with me. A guy sweeping the floor makes eye contact with me also. No one says a word to me. About 5 to 10 minutes go by without a single word muttered to me. I hear a lady ask if I've been taken care of in the front and I yell no. And then I hear the lady say oh we don't even have registers open up front. Here's my question, if the lobby is still open why take out the tills and close the registers??? The girl at the drive thru takes my order and I get it for free like Colleen had told me prior. Also at the end of the order I say "thank you for helping me but I would have appreciated it if you had told me the registers were closed so I could have gone through the drive thru instead of knowing I was standing there and completely ignoring me." And the only response that she gave me was that there are signs out front. She took me outside to look at the signs and lo and behold there are absolutely no signs. I told her apparently I'm not the only one because there were 4 more people behind me in line. She then gives me the excuse that kids steal their signs and have called the police on them. Okay? Great. That's not my problem.
What I do have a problem with is that instead of her handling it like a manager should have she completely passed the blame on kids who supposedly steal their signs where there are absolutely no signs anywhere! Not even an hours sign on the door. Management sucks. They do not care about the customers what so ever!! Orders are also mostly wrong. DO...
Read moreThe cashier was sweet even after dealing with a snappy customer. This McDonalds is out of the way for us but my 2 boys were wanting a new playplace and fries for their good day treat. The place is as clean as most McDonalds-womens bathroom was clean always a plus..a booth in the play area needs repair. We got our food..which consisted of lots of fries. They were hot and yummy. I'm a little grossed out by the buttermilk chicken i got. It had a big blob of fried fat attached. While im aware fat comes on chicken, i wouldve upchucked had i ate it- I had to tear it off. The tomatoes were small and the ends of a tomato. Those came off as well. Chicken nuggets dry. Ice cream cones always a hit. Over all the experience was okay I dont like having to pick apart my meal due to being uneasy..they do birthday package for the kids in the play place, if anyone was interested. Another uneasy feeling..they blocked the emergency exit.
Edit: brought it down to a 2..1 star for the play place 1 star for the fries. But took a star away for me up chucking my food after..it left me uneasy and then came up..we wont be returning to this...
Read moreSo tired of getting gypped on toppings. One pickle slice is an upgrade, couple specs onion, usually Iâm lucky if I get anything more than ketchup. I donât know whatâs happening to this location in the last year, but it has been getting worse and worse. When I get a fish sandwich, Iâm lucky if I get nickel sized tartar sauce, then when I ask for extra, I am charged to get what I was supposed to get to begin with, itâs ridiculous. As far as McDonaldâs as a chain goes, the fries are totally different and usually undercooked, especially here, portions have been getting noticeably smaller ex. the fish sandwich and some other sandwiches, chicken nuggets, etc and as mentioned, toppings are sparse if any at all. With the price increases it would be much better to get a nice quality hamburger from somewhere else that will actually fill you up and that you donât have to beg for whatâs supposed to come on it. I Remember McDonaldâs ran an ad saying that they were gonna increase toppings, seems to be the opposite. Odd that ad...
