Candle Chemistry — Local services in Gilbert

Poor experience here altogether. Went with my girlfriend and had a decent time smelling all the scents. We were really excited to make a candle together and try out a few different combinations. After going through and picking out our scents we were sat down and told to pick our favorite smells. We did that and then the “scent specialist” lets us know what combos will go well together and that we can only pick one to smell. After doing that we were pretty much on our own, just mixing and testing with no understanding what levels will work well or anything. Every question I asked to the main employee dealing with us and the manager who was working just seemed to bother them. Very quick responses and not very helpful at all to be honest. Just seemed like they were more interested in us being done as quick as possible. I think we possibly got the worst worker in the place to help us. I remember going to this business at a different location once before and we were able to test out multiple scent combinations, so we would actually know what it would smell like lol. Not just guessing. This location told us we can only choose one combo, you better like it I guess.

Whole experience lasted about 25 minutes since it was rushed. $75 for two candles and not much help. If I want to buy candles for an outrageous amount of money I’d rather not go here. The candle-making process itself was such a blast, but what really made it special was the customer service. Marcia and the rest of the team were attentive, upbeat, and super helpful without ever making us feel rushed. They created such a relaxed, fun environment where we could laugh, be creative, and just enjoy the moment.

The BEST experience ever! I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, Reagan and the staff were beyond welcoming — so kind, patient, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. We came in to make our own candles, and it ended up being one of the most fun, relaxing, and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. They explained everything so clearly, helped with suggestions, and made sure everyone felt confident creating their own unique candle.

On top of that, they also have options for making your own soaps and scrubs, which is such a cool bonus! You can tell they truly care about their customers and love what they do.
