Taco Bell — Restaurant in Gilbert

I am generally one of the most low maintenance customers a restaurant can have; partly because I hate confrontation but also as someone who has worked in food service before, I have a great deal of empathy and patience. That being said, after walking in tonight and seeing the condition of the place - the longer I was there, the less appealing eating from here seemed. The trash was overflowing, the soda machine was filthy and the hand washing sink looked like it had seen less water than the Sahara desert. As the food prep gentleman kept leaving his station to check on the bathroom ( I am assuming because he earnestly had to go), I became increasingly unenthused as he kept returning to the food line because the loo was preoccupied. In my opinion, it would have been appropriate for him to use that hand washing station every time he left from behind the counter but I digress. I didn't even want to torture myself thinking about the likelihood of him having poor hand-washing practices. Between the lack of customer service, lack of cleanliness and the wait time for a single value item, I concluded that I rather forfeit the 3 dollars and some change that I spent, than deal with some sort of awful stomachache or food poisoning. So, I just quietly left - not that anyone was really manning the front to see.

I'll end with this - serving people food must entail great care for the sake of people's health - it's not an invisible threat, its a very serious and cautionary threat. This isn't your Mum's kitchen nor living room (in light of the chatter). Between Taco Bell and Burger King across the way, run and don't look back....

Its Taco Bell! So I would like to say that this location has provided great service and atmosphere in the past and I do not like to relay negative reviews unless I feel it is necessary. With that said, I do have to mention that my friend and I went there the other evening. The atmosphere certainly felt a little toxic with the high school kids running around at 11 pm with an aura of careless disregard. So the lady at he window has certainly changed, I remember her being very friendly but those were not the vibes illuminating from her aura this night. So my friend found a a receipt or a coupon they had given her the other day that said she could have a free item. However, the girl at the window said she couldn't do it because they were too busy,which they were busy but that shouldn't interfere with providing service for a customer. Furthermore, so we accepted that as the final no and went into the night's journey. So the drink we were suppose to get never was handed to us and I'm not necessarily blaming the girl because we had forgot to ask for it additionally. Anyways. I'll still return to this location in the future. Thank you and I hope...

Worst taco bell I've ever been to. Charged me for an extra taco when I just asked instead of a hard taco can it be soft minus lettuce. Was treated horrible from the time I entered the door. Saw that I was charged for the extra taco the manager had to come refund the money. I asked why everyone was so rude. She said 5 people called off. I asked how that was my fault to be treated so poorly. She did refund my money without me asking. She still charged me for the taco I didn't order. Got the taco I did order wrong. Did not put the lid on the nachos so they spilled all over the bag. Just an all around horrible experience. Good thing they gave me all of the money back minus a taco because everything was inedible. Had to take my son to a capable taco bell after driving all the way...
