The Sweet Spot — Restaurant in Gilead Township

We drove 30 mins to try a new dairy stand. When we arrived we were greeted if thats what you call it, by a sour face looking girl, and her manners were the same. We ordered hot dogs with coney sauce. She told us no, and we asked what she meant and she said they didn't have any. When we finally got our hot dogs they were made incorrectly but ate them anyways. We ordered ice cream, and after a wait they told us it would be awhile because they were out of the chocolate soft serve and had to make more. A large 5 dollar cup of vanilla looks like a small to medium. I told them what I thought, and the girl smiled. I had to ask for a bag for my to-go order, and one of the girls said she'd go see if there was one in the back. When I returned home, the center was hollow . I moved to Mt Gilead in 1978. I’ve been going to this location since. Numerous owners. Always fair prices. This place is now outrageous! A medium vanilla cone was over $4 and I asked for a medium sprite and was charged $2 and handed a can of pop. No air conditioning. Workers were friendly and my party got smash burgers $5 fair price and they advised they were good. The ice cream prices are more than DQ.
