Outstanding brewery and friendly staff. This open and airy brewery has quality offerings and a very friendly staff. Located conveniently off the main drag with plenty of parking. It’s dog friendly and you can hang inside or out. No food but their neighbors allegedly have superb food and it appears to be working in conjunction with Big Lost. Might as well be the brewery dining room? The beer was good and it was a nice day to sit outside. There is a playground for the kiddos so expect kid stuff like running around, yelling, and general kid stuff. Not a worry as they are just trying to release their wiggles. The lady behind the bar was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very proud of their town. I enjoyed hearing her civic pride and advocacy for the state of Wyoming. A perfect brew pub experience, thanks for the hospitality. I was 2,000 miles from home and she made this old traveler feel...
Read moreI dabble in making mead and my husband home brews beer, so of course Big Lost Meadery and Brewery was on our vacation itinerary as we traveled through the area. The atmosphere was very cool, it was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband tried the Irish Red beer and he said it was good. I tried the Wild Man, Crazy Woman, and Luscious Gardener meads. All three were very good, smooth and easy to drink, with the Crazy Woman being my favorite. Big Lost has some interesting mead cocktails on the menu that I would have liked to try if we had been in the area longer. They don't serve food but there is a place right next door to get food you can bring in or that delivers. Really neat place that I would definitely visit again if given the...
Read moreWe went at the perfect time today, about 5:20pm, where there are a few groups in and a few outside. Right before it starts to pick up for Trivia Night and before the dinner rush. We had a Mead Flight of the four that are on tap and a pint of BL Peach Blonde and a BL Hefe since I prefer beer. Honey mead has a bite, a sweetness and is Very flavorful and not as heavy as wine or beer but high alcohol per volume. We liked the Wild Woman the best with the hibiscus so we bought a bottle. I'm glad there was a burger and salty fries next door. Plus Cornhole in the courtyard. I lost of course. Cheers and thanks Big Lost Meadery for...
