Carnitas Michoacán — Restaurant in Gilroy

Worst place ever. All our burritos had bones in them. I've never ever been to a place that I had to pick through my burrito first. And the waitress, HORRIBLE. Didn't even get out drink order or give us menus or napkins. We had to get our own. She was gossiping with the table behind us the whole time. When she finally brought our food, we asked her for salsa and she said she'd be right back with it, she NEVER came back with it. But she did bring the people she was gossiping with a bottle of salsa. Guess you get better service when you're friends with the waitress. We also ordered a quesaquesadilla and it never came. We had to ask for it. We literally got it after everyone else was already done eating. And when we asked her if it would be free of charge since it was so late, she said she had to ask. They took forever to finally get back to us that ok yes, they'd give it to us for free. This is the first time I have ever ever been this disgusted and disappointed. Do NOT recommend. Also, one of the workers lives in the bathroom. We went in there. She was there washing her hands. We come out, she's sitting on the drawers that were in there. Who does that? ! Like the bathrooms are not that clean to be hanging out in to begin with. Neither toilet had seat covers and the towel dispenser was broken as well....

Carnitas Michoacon is a family owned restaurant. All of their food is amazing. They are known for carnitas. Their carnitas is fantastic. Whether you chose a carnitas plate or carnitas tacos, you will not be dissapointed. Their carnitas super burrtos not only delicious it is massive. It is sooooo good with fresh avacado and cilantro. All of their food is amazing. From their Pazole to chili verde to carne asada, All of the food is so good. Their beans are also so good. They make a fresh batch everyday. Lately, I have been getting the chili rellano and carnitas tostada combo with rice and beans. It is fantastic. As always I took my time to go all the way to Gilroy from San Jose to dine at this place. I was so disappointed in the food and service. I highly recommend the place to friends for their food and the service. I order enchiladas de pollo con Chile verde. ( Green sauce enchiladas) what they did was they folded the tortilla with the chicken in it, the salsa they you get to go they put it on top of the folded tacos and cheese on top. When the enchilada sauce supposed to be cooked and the enchiladas fried with oil. The sisters should be embarrassed to serve their lazy made Mexican food. They sold their shameless food to the wrong Mexican. The sisters should be embarrassed and ashamed to sell their Mexican food like that. I have to say I will never drive to Gilroy to eat at this...
