This is a cute place - adorable decor. Could be a cute concept. Service and food leave a lot to be desired. Three stars is likely being generous. This concept might work better as a bougie breakfast/bagel/coffee establishment rather than a restaurant because it definitely is not an effective restaurant concept, at this time. We were the only patrons in the restaurant on Thursday at prime lunch time. Girl working was sweet but offered no explanation of where to go or where to sit as we came in. We looked at menus, went up to order and they were out of all of the items we went to order (there was no explanation of the menu changes as we were looking at the menu or before we ordered). They had only a couple of the lunch items on the menu - told us they just go bad because there isn't enough people coming in... We ended up ordering the pork street tacos (she had to double check they even had these) & chicken salad sandwich. Both were just okay - salsa was actually very good. Iced tea was OLD and not drinkable. There are some obvious food handling kinks that would need to be ironed out here - made me nervous eating their food. $50 for two OK lunch meals and undrinkable iced tea. Gilroy really needs more food options; so, I really hope this place is able to work out their many kinks but not sure how it will ever...

Yessss everything was so delicious! Glad...
Read moreIt's been a few weeks since my visit, and I still can't shake the disappointment of the incredibly soggy Lechon Kawali. As someone who appreciates having Asian food options in Gilroy, I was hoping for a better experience. The fact that I'm still dwelling on the texture of the pork belly speaks volumes. While the hour-long wait for our food wasn't ideal, the soggy Lechon Kawali was the real letdown, especially considering the price and...
