Neveria Alaska Ice Cream — Restaurant in Gilroy

Went there for corn in a cup and my child asked for a candy afterwards so I purchased that separately. The candy total was $2 but I didn’t know that until later. The girl behind the counter rang me up and told me it was $4 and some change so I gave her a $20. She took it and gave me my change. I proceeded in just putting it in my wallet and walked away, but as I’m leaving I thought that was a lot for two pieces of candy so I took the money back out and I see that I only have two fives and a one dollar bill so I went back in to complain and they told me they had to review the cameras and that the cashier had given the correct change back. I argued that was all the money I had in my bag and she didn’t give me the right amount and anyway how was I charged over $4 dollars for two pieces of candy that were supposed to be only one dollar apiece and the lady tells me oh the rest was taxes. I told her oh you guys are thieves then because there’s no way that should’ve been over $2 dollars of taxes and I will not be coming back here again and the woman tells me oh that’s your choice do whatever you want. The girls that work there are so rude, they are not friendly, patient and kind, the times i have gone there is not busy and for some reason the taller girl with glasses always rushes me. I like to take my time and i hate when employees dont take their eyes off you because thats literally all she does. My 1st time here was a pleasant experience very nice staff very clean and the desserts out of this the world I had fried plantains with strawberries and cream and it was to die for. They had every kind of ice cream you can think of Not to mention all the fresh fruit For juicing Would definitely recommend this to others and the price can't be beat Great place for children or anybody who likes sweets or fruits...
