Being a former barista of 3yrs for Starbucks, I know how crazy it can be and this store just doesn’t cut it. The drive thru can be a bit of a wait but that’s not my problem at all: it’s the disappointment of not getting a single drink right. There have been multiple times my drink hasn’t been right and it seems like SUCH a hassle if I want it corrected. I actually feel bad when my drink is wrong because of the attitude I get from a certain couple of baristas. They also cannot get a mobile order of mine right. They gave me two drinks that weren’t part of my mobile order, got home and realized it, went back and they tried to give me my drink that had been sitting there for 15 minutes, watered down. When I asked for it to be remade, since it was watered down, I got a sarcastic “of course!!!” If I were still working for this company and tried any of the stuff this store does, I’d have gotten a talking to by my manager and have to “retrain” on basic barista knowledge. Every other Starbucks in town has not given me a problem like this one. PS: if a store messes up this bad, usually you’d get a recovery card for the hassle; don’t think this store knows what those are. EDIT: Gave them another chance today (1/28/22) and our drink was wrong (passion tea no water, apple juice instead) lady at drive thru repeated it but did NOT put apple juice on the cup. Went in to fix it and the manager refused to speak with us and did NOT call out the drink when...
Read moreI’m shocked. My sister ordered a grande brown sugar shaken espresso and egg bites yesterday via the mobile app and after 10 min asked what the status of her order was since she hadn’t seen it come out yet, the guy managing mobile orders just looked at the drinks and said “it’s not ready yet”. My sister patiently waited another 10 min (20 min at this point). She asked again, and the same guy carelessly responded “it’s not ready yet”. After she had been waiting for 30 min, she spoke to a supervisor and explained that she had been waiting for her drink for some time and the supervisor responded rudely “did you just put the order in”, finally my sister said “I put it in 30 min ago”, showed her the receipt and the supervisor had someone make her drink. My sister was late for work at this point and avoids conflict at all costs, so she left after receiving the drink but never received the egg bites (SHE PAID FOR THE EGG BITES). When she told me this I was infuriated. I worked at Starbucks for 4 years and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. For them to dismiss her after she had clearly been waiting for so long and then not even offer a comped beverage ticket, I am appalled. This Starbucks needs to get it together, they’re honestly always so rude everytime...
Read moreOne of the best and most fun Starbucks experiences I’ve had the last few years. I went with a friend the other night for the first time. I offered to pay and my friend was like “No no I got it,” so I’m like “Okay for sure, I got food.” When we get up to the register my friend looks at me, expecting me to pay and the barista goes “Oh, you’re not paying for her?” and tells us about how her terrible ex never paid for her for over two years. Then my friend goes “Oh, we’re not together” and the barista asked if she just friendzoned me which made my day. I don’t know who the barista was but she seemed sad about her boyfriend. You made our day and I hope you’re doing okay bro. You know who you are. Keep your head up, queen. I will continue to support this Starbucks for this exact experience and choose this as my go to Starbucks...
