Luna's Chicken N Seafood — Restaurant in Gladstone

I was craving some fried catfish so I did a "catfish near me" Search and found Luna's Chicken N Seafood...I entered the super clean, yet super simple atmosphere, and was greeted by a super friendly young lady who was patient with me in finding exactly what I wanted off the menu. It was as exciting as Christmas morning to a five year old when I found out I could have both fried catfish and fried chicken wings! Not to mention it came with super crunchy fries and a little serving of coleslaw (coleslaw was just ok) and a soda. Plus I got to pick a dry seasoning for my fish, wings and fries. Now, here's the big surprise that should make you consider Luna's...my to go order of fish, wings and fries was so hot, fresh and crispy that when I got home (about 10 mins away) it was STILL hot, fresh and crispy! I'll be back for sure, so don't you be going nowhere, Luna's, you better stay right there...unless you moving closer...

A must try! All for under 20.00 everything was made fresh, 15 minute wait. Well worth the wait!!! My mom went in yesterday and got okra, spicy fried chicken, jalapeño peppers, spaghetti. I tried it all the next day. Okra, was still crispy and wonderful! They serve it in a brown bag so it doesn’t get soggy. 10/10 for everything. Generous portion for price. Fried spicy chicken, oh my. Truly delicious!! That breading has soo much flavor&heat and crunch. Leaves you thinking of when you’ll go get more next. Spaghetti (no meat), it’s wonderful! Can not beat the portion and cost. This spaghetti does not lack flavor! And those jalapeno Peppers, carry great heat! A little soft but not too soft. Everything even the next day, was delicious!! My mom also said they have very nice employees as well! I can’t wait to try it...

Tried for the first time and will be the last time. Ordered the 8 pc leg and thigh with light spice and a #19 shrimp and cod. I was told it would be 18 minutes for it to be ready and it was over 30 minutes.Got home and for the #19 I had whiting and wings instead of the cod and shrimp. The 8 pc was so spicy you couldn’t it. I called them and let them know I did not get the #19 but got whiting and wings instead . They said they were sorry and asked me to bring the food back. I informed them that I was not going to drive back there tonight and again they said sorry it was wrong. I have never bought food that my husband wouldn’t eat but he tried to eat some of the 8 pc and some ff and said that he could not eat it. It is so salty and spicy. Needless to say, we will not be going back...
