Champion Burritos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Gladstone

There are plenty of pics for this place online already. But let me tell you a story. 10+ years ago while my son was at baseball practice I found this small gas station that had a small kiosk selling the best burritos I'd ever put my lips around. Savory chunks of steak and chicken with rice, potatoes, peppers and onions lovingly wrapped in a tortilla with a smile. It was why I always volunteered to be the chauffeur for Saturday practices.

Fast forward to now and someone mentioned this great burrito place in Gladstone. Lo and behold - it's the same outfit. They still have that location in Parkville too.

So I've been twice and did it ever bring back the memories. Same great flavors - and now way many more choices! It will take me forever to try all the different burrito combos.

Terrific salsas and really love the guac. Not a huge place, but they have a dining room if you want to eat in. I have only ordered online and both times, I showed up and food was waiting. Not like other joints here of late where you place your order online to not have to wait in line - only to wait upon arrival for your food to be prepared. Service here is prompt.

You know why your mama's cooking was always better than anyone else's? Because she prepared food for people she loved. The love was baked right in. It's the highest compliment I can give anyone.

Ordered on the website and picked up 3 steak and egg breakfast burritos that was trash. I expected real eggs and grilled or even pan seared steak. The texture of the burritos were wet. The meat was wet like it was in a pot from last nights shift soaking in beef stock and they threw it in the burrito with some mushy powder eggs like the ones from the school cafeteria. After a few bites I quit, my husband quit and my 1 year old daughter wouldn’t even eat the mushy juicy eggs ewww. This was our first and last time eating here. No need to call and make a fuss about a refund, champion Burrito just gained and lost 3 customers in one day. Make fresh Ingredients. This place has a 0 rating! 7217 N Oak Trafficway, Gladstone, MO 64118 This was my very first time here. They didn't say hello may I help you. My order was wrong we didn't have meat (chicken) in our burritos. I asked for jalapeños on the side, they put them on the food, there was no sour cream, and they put the burrito in a foam bowl without the tortilla!!!!! That's not a burrito! When I called to see if i could bring the food back he said "my bad" then he said no.
