We are camping in Mammoth Cave, & didn't get done setting up at our camp site until late. Everyone was hungry I took my 4 kiddos under 10 with me and made the extra haul because They just wanted some chicken nuggets.. we pulled in at the outside speaker, waited for someone to come on for 15 minutes. Noone ever spoke and asked me to hang or ever said a word- not to mention asked me if I would like to place my order. There was a line of folks in front of us. So, I continued to wait.--- 45 minutes later WAITING in line & still- noone ever asked me if I was ready to order. I waited in line, there were maybe 9 cars total but 6 cars said forget it and just got out of line then left - passing ahead of me. Once I finally made it up to the top of the line at the window, as I looked inside there were maybe 20 bags of food on the counter from orders obviously people just pulled off and left behind. I still think ok, we maybe they're short handed tonight and just don't have enough people in there- i waited and counted at least 7 employees running around staring at all the monitors because there were so many cars that bailed on them. Then finally a female manager came to the window- she tried handing me bags of food but I explained that we had been sitting at the speaker for 20 minutes, then in line for.45 & people had passed me in the line, left and noone ever took my order so I just followed the line. So I ordered 2 boxes of 20 piece nuggets, 2 large sweet teas, and two fries. It took 10-15 minutes STILL to get my FAST food. So I seriously spent over an hour with 4 hungry whining kids for 40 nuggets! Somethin' needs to be done here the lady just acted as though it was OK- CHARGED ME FULL PRICE FOR MY FOOD. My wife was in restaurant business and she said that this was obsurd, and they should have at least knocked off the sweet teas or fries for free! That woulda been nice but of course there were zero cares given and not even the slightest apology ever made for the wait time. - Ridiculous! - if you need food I reccomend not going here at 1130 on Friday night. Read moreWent thru drive thru. got my order and payed for it. I noticed I didn't get a receipt but thot little of it. I should have checked my order tho. My nuggets were missing. I called the store. Several rings but you never know , maybe bathroom break or something . They did finally answered. I was wanting to tell them my order so they could ring it up and see how close it was to 22 bucks. The total was 22 and change.. or take the info off the extra cheese receipt stuck to a sandwich and match it up if possible. She wasn't interested in seeing if I paid for the nuggets. I see my mistake of not requesting a receipt at the window. I seen their mistakes and don't hold it against them. But that woman I was talking to was a very poor rep for mcds. As I explained the problem she cut me short and said she didn't think I was charged for them. I don't know how she figured that so qwik. I think she lied. I felt bad for her and me. Anyway... Serve you old fries, unseasoned fries, or a combination.
Serve you old chicken.
Holding cabinet beeping? No problem. Just reset the timer a few or five times.
Got a problem? Good luck getting proper reimbursement. A like for like replacement is never proper reimbursement and the manager on duty has never budged when called. They are willing to hang up.
