Number One Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Glassboro

Oh my was this great chinese food. Well from what i ordered anyway i thought so. Now i am not typically a chinese kinda gal but their pork fried rice, delicious; that is if you are picky like me and don't like all of the different veggies that most places put in there. Just basically rice, pork, onions.. yum! And the chinese pizza with that sauce wow! In other words, if you haven't had it or don't know what it is, crispy scallion pancakes with the sweet but tangy sauce. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. I did actually have the chicken and broccoli 2 or 3 times and that was also good. But thats about all i eat chinese. The food is always hot and the prices really aren't bad either. I got all this (chinese pizza, chicken and broccoli, p.f.r) plus another meal for my friend, 2 egg rolls, and they put a bunch of fortune cookies in there and the crunchy noodles I think too and it only cost around $14 (This was about 2 years ago but it shouldn't have changed much). Sounds good to me. Aww man it's been that long? I gotta get some. O and there's not much of a place to sit but chinese is usually a lazy day take out anyway. Hope this helps a little anyway. Lady who took my order seemed pleasant. Called ahead for pickup and was told 10 minutes wait and the total was $22.68 … went in to pay, they don’t take Apple Pay so went back to the car to get cash. Suddenly the total is $26.82 ??? Where did the $4.14 come from..?? Inside of the place was dusty and bleak. Food wasn’t hot when we got it.. was warm, but not hot. Chicken wings were greasy and soft. Fries tasted like left over McDonald’s that came out the microwave.. “pork fried rice” had no pork in it at all??? Rice had a grayish tint to it.. tasted like week old leftovers that weren’t made well in the first place. Nothing in the rice besides a few specks of onion. Eating the Boneless spare ribs was like eating mulch doused in sweet and sour sauce with the occasional slug in it. Meat was super dry and flavorless.. half the pieces were just huge slabs of fat.. egg roll was not properly cooked at all. Grey on outside and the inner wrapper was raw. Absolutely unacceptable. Not sure how this place is even in business, but I doubt that’ll last much longer. Horrible...

Listen, tofu.. It’s wildly easy to make taste terrible. THIS PLACE? Smacks. There wasn’t even one single individual grain of rice in my fried rice that was hard. You know what I’m talking about too.. There’s always those weird overcooked pieces and you eat them anyway, but you wish they weren’t there. This rice though.. Fantastic. The general Tso’s was made perfectly too. Sweet heat. Whole order was dumb. 10/10 recommend. Somebody posted a picture of a roach on the floor and I don’t think you should care. That’s how good this food was. Slaaaaappin’.
