Smashburger — Restaurant in Glassboro

Disappointing and honestly disrespectful… waited 50 minutes for my take out order. The way the staff didn’t seem to care and took their time without showing a lick of customer service. I’m usually never a Karen, but I left here completely furious and baffled. When I got in my car after waiting for close to an hour, I saw they didn’t even include my fries or my chocolate milk for my son. I also was supposed to get a ranch for my onion rings. I had to go back in. I got one small container of sauce. I was sure I saw her with 2 containers in hand, yet I received one. I couldn’t believe after the wait, I got the smallest tablespoon of ranch. Not to mention, the fries and onion rings were cold. I really started to like this place after my door dash, but I don’t think I can order here again. Issac here was a nice guy who handled the cash register. I watched him go into the back to help the other employees cook. But people continued to wait in line while he worked. Someone needs to be fired and / or hired here for extra help. The crew has no care or work ethic. They took their time and didn’t even seem to check in with customers at all. I wasn’t the only frustrated customer. The attitude was completely “I could care less.” No smiles or anything. If you take such a long time, at least check in with customers to assure them that they haven’t been forgotten. I swore maybe I missed something with the amount of time I waited. The woman directly ahead of me in line ate her entire meal with her child and left before I even got my take out order. I genuinely would have thought everyone smoked an ounce of weed and took several xanex before clocking in. I should not be reheating my food in the air fryer right now. My family was waiting for me in the car. This was really unprofessional. You have to do better! I never leave nasty reviews, but this was beyond...

Livid!!! I been sitting here over 40 minutes. I ordered at 8:02pm I hear a gentlemen working in the back complaining how they are short staffed and they aren’t hiring. He’s fed up and stated he doesn’t care. I watched my bag of food sit on the counter for 15 minutes before I got it. The same gentlemen named nick from the back came to the front to expedite the orders. As I politely asked the young lady how much longer I had to wait for my French fries he interrupted and stated sarcastically he was sorry but they were under staffed and the store wasn’t hiring and it’s nothing they can do about it. I could wait or get a refund. Choosing to ignore his ignorance and go back and forth I asked him how much longer until my fries were finished he asked me if I had a microwave at home. I didn’t argue with him because I could tell he would get irate. I waited patiently. 10 minutes later I got my food. It’s now 8:49. I don’t recommend this Smash Burger and plan on seeing this matter be looked into. Almost an hour for my food is unacceptable. Disrespect is definitely unacceptable, especially when I wasn’t rude and very very patient and polite despite my inner frustration. I deserved to be treated with respect and valued as a patron. I ate here on Tuesday night (take out). Food was Amazing as usual. I want to take this opportunity though to write a review about one of their employees. She was working that night and she has a tan complexion and a dark ponytail. I apologize for not knowing her name. She is always so friendly and personable when my girlfriend and I come in to eat. Last time I was at SB she took my order and complimented my tattoos. We talked about them and their meanings etc. you think I would have remembered this but this past Tuesday when she acknowledged me and said “hey your the tattoo lady” … and I in return appeared I came across like dazed and confused cause I was until my gf reminded me of how complimentary this young lady was last time about my tattoos. I’m sure I made her feel awkward and I wanted to apologize and laugh it off with her but she did what any uncomfortable person would have done at that moment and avoided me and eye contact til we got our food and left lol Well long story short. I do remember her. I am the tattoo lady. And she is a wonderful addition to your smash burger...
