Thank you Pizza Gods for placing a New Haven-style pizza place close to Hartford!! Sliceworks takes the thin crust, chewy style pizza to another level. Beyond the food and atmosphere the mission behind Sliceworks is awesome. I pulled this from their website: the mission is to have an inclusive workplace where pizza creates possibilities for individuals with disabilities. How awesome is this?!?!

Experience: We came in for a quick family dinner and walked into a clean and cheerful restaurant with plenty of seating. We checked out the extensive menu and it was easy to satisfy everyone’s cravings (2 adults and three kids ages 8-12) by grabbing some individual slices and ordering a combo whole pie as well. We loved seeing the slices and watching the pizzas being made right in front of us. There is a place to eat outside as well, cute little patio with tables and chairs- great for warm nights or to get sun on your lunch break!

We decided to dine in and waited for our order. Kids grabbed Snapple and Foxon Park Soda from the cooler and then we were told be could go next door to the package store because the restaurant is BYOB! I love this and we will remember this next time.

Food: pizza arrived and it smaller so good!! We ordered a bunch of different kinds of pizza and they were all amazing. Big Mac pizza was loaded and totally tasted like a Big Mac. White pizza with broccoli was delish- broccoli was perfectly cooked. My son got Baked potato Bacon and that was filling! A lot of toppings but wasn’t soggy or mushy (which has happened with other potato pizza). BBQ chicken pizza was a little zesty- in a good way. My youngest loved the plain cheese and I had my go-to: Margarita which was perfectly blended and fresh. We ended up taking a half cheese/half roni to go just because! It was all so good!! Next time I will try the different salads and we have to try the garlic knots because the table next to us was talking about how great they were.Sid I mention the desserts? We were too full but next time

Service: food came out quickly, everyone was pleasant and responsive. I appreciate the friendliness and the genuine happiness shown that we were there.

So this is now going to be our place. Whenever driving through Glastonbury for lunch really quick or to stop for dinner, we will go here. I also saw that they cater so I’m thinking about reaching out the next time I need to order lunch for my staff. Sliceworks is amazing and I can’t wait to...

First time experiencing SliceWorks. They Just opened in Glastonbury. I tried a slice of each type of the common pizzas...Neapolitan, Sicilian, and the Grandma. We also got a Buffalo Chicken pie. Each slice was average. The Sicilian was the best of the three. The Buffalo pie was bland for our tastes. Perhaps a stronger wing sauce and some extra Bleu cheese would make it better. The amount of chicken on the pizza was great though. Each crust was average along with the sauces on each. The sliced garlic on the Grandma was a good addition. We will probably try getting an entire Neapolitan and Sicilian pie in the future to see if having them cooked fresh to order makes a difference. We typically try a place 3 times before passing final judgment, so we'll definitely be back. We have plenty of pizza places to choose from in town...all are average imo. We have our favorite just like everyone else. We were hoping for a winner with SliceWorks, but that didn't...

I am not exaggerating when I say this is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The thickness of the crust is perfect, not too thin and not too thick. The ingredients taste fresh, which seems unusual in most establishments since Covid! We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza that definitely did not skimp on the chicken, and it’s shredded, which takes our favorite pie to a whole other level! We also ordered a caprese salad - cannot believe how red and juicy the tomatoes were. I’m so used to mealy yellow tomatoes, and these looked like they were freshly picked from a garden. The restaurant was so clean, and staff couldn’t have been sweeter. Definitely our top take out restaurant. So happy when I see restaurants putting in effort and care into their...

Fantastic new spot in town. We ordered the garlic knots, a neapolitan style (they have 3 styles to choose from) pepperoni pizza and a slice of their baked potato pizza. They do a great Neapolitan which happens to be our favorite style. Slices are huge and flavorful and all of the food came out super fast which is important when dining with kids. Our kids even devoured everything we ordered which is unheard of! Dining room and kitchen were very clean, and the staff were helpful when recommending their favorites. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this place gets 5 stars! The atmosphere, workers, the food! They immediately greet you with a welcoming introduction where you get to sample a free slice while you decide. They have HUGE SLICES, whole pizzas, siscilian pizzas, salads, calzones! My single slice of artichoke pizza made on an everything seasoned crust was literally the size of a small pizza!! This place is amazing, their mission is pure and essential to what we need in all communities.
