This place. Wow. It is so unique and takes putt putt golf to a whole new level! The course is impeccably cared for and setup incredibly well, and challenging but still very fun. There are little stands at the start and finish of each hole so you can set down your drinks. We absolutely loved our time here. We played a round of putt putt golf which is unlimited for the day...they give you a wristband to show that you've paid. So, you can play until you drop. Lol And the music playing on the outdoor speakers was on point! They were playing some definite classics. We loved the music vibes! There's a gift shop, a couple different bars, a rooftop patio, chairs along the river to relax in while sipping some delicious local wine 😊, and an outdoor stage. We were there on a Monday afternoon, so they didn't have any music going on but I'm sure it would be incredible. Food is also available, but we had just eaten so we didn't order anything. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We wish that we lived closer or had a River Club by our house. It would definitely be our go-to spot for date night or just a day out with the kids. I can't recommend it enough! THANK YOU!

River Club is like adult playground that is kid friendly. From the custom mini golf to the frozen margaritas, you will not be disappointed (unless you’re a total party pooper). This place is fantastic! Live music, great bar, fun atmosphere and a great shop onsite for River Club swag. This is a perfect place for a date night, meet up with friends, work gathering, or place to take the kids and also have a drink. It’s awesome to see places like this that can be all inclusive for families and young adults. We met the owners during their season opener this year and were delighted to learn that they will have live music 7 days a week in the summer!

Atmosphere 5/5: what an awesome space! There’s something for everyone here, from mini golf and live music to a gift shop and TVs for the sports fan. And the seats right on the river brought the perfect relaxing views. Food 3/5: I was rather disappointed in my $18 burrito. It was an overpriced and underwhelming Chipotle wannabe. Too much rice, not a lot of anything else. Pork was bland. Couldn’t taste the salsas and there were like two chunks of the pineapple relish ($2 extra). Sour cream is $1.50 extra? Come on. Service 5/5: order at a computer and get a text when it’s ready. Bar has a lot of options.

Enjoyed our time there, and most of the staff were incredibly friendly. Played a round with my very young family and the folks working the club house area allowed my 2 year old daughter play free which was incredibly nice and considering she barely played a single full hole, very much appreciated.

Only qualm I have was when we came in through the gift shop looking like confused new customers who don't know the ropes yet, the employee working the desk wasn't very helpful and almost seemed annoyed that we didn't know we don't pay for the round in there (they have cash registers and prices on the wall afterall). There are multiple buildings on site, and for first timers, it's hard to know what building is for what, so some friendly assistance would have been nice or some signage about what we need to do. After reading some other reviews about it being a more adult place, I was a little worried about bringing my young kids there to begin with, thinking we would be out of place and the first encounter did nothing to ease those fears. Luckily, the rest of the staff made us feel welcome, and now that we know the ropes, would feel good about coming again, though probably never during a busy time with very young kids.

We didn't eat anything so I can't speak to the food. The price is what it is, there are probably cheaper places but for the activity and the ambiance, it is reasonable. The actual course was maybe slightly disappointing, the holes are a bit on the lame side. It feels like I'm at a putting green at a golf course (but on turf). But I dont think people really go for the quality of the golf, it's more about hanging out with friends and family while enjoying a drink and in that regard, I think it's successful. Overall I'm happy we went and I...

River Club is an absolute gem for anyone looking for a few hours of competition, relaxation, good food and drink. This place is a must-visit destination for locals as well as tourists.

From the moment you arrive, the charming and beautifully landscaped golf course and park captivates you with its lush greenery and meticulous attention to detail.

The mini golf is both challenging and satisfying for the whole family. Everyone loves mini golf!

One of the standout features is a full bar, offering a wide selection of drinks to enjoy as you putt or sit back and take in the local talent on stage. Whether you're in the mood for a cold beer, or a creative cocktail on the roof top deck, the friendly staff was always ready to serve with a smile.

Complementing the mini golf and drinks is the mouthwatering made-to-order Mexican-style food. The menu is fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Everyone in my family loved their taco, bowl and burrito. And the Moomers Ice Cream topped it all off.

The ambiance is welcoming and laid-back, making it a perfect spot for multi-generational families, groups, or even a casual date night. The combination of enjoyable mini-golf, exceptional food and drinks, river views, live music and the warm hospitality of the staff created an experience that’ll keep this family...

This is a great addition to GA and we are very excited to have another place in town with live music, food, and a unique family entertainment experience. We appreciated that they were in over staffing their opening rather than understaffing.

A couple comments to give a different perspective than another review on the food offerings. We LOVE that you decided to do Mexican as opposed to the standard burger / pizza which is located everywhere across Leelanau. As folks who are here the entire summer, we are excited for alternative food options. And there are plenty of other spots for ice cream, so I think this was a great choice.

I would agree on the comment made by another reviewer that the music (at least on opening day) was much too loud and not the type that fits the vibe of the community. We stopped by a few days later and the music was much quieter, so this may already be addressed (and if so, thanks for listening and adjusting based on feedback!). Music genre is subjective, and there’s something to be said for having a different vibe than everywhere else, but my personal preference would also be for beachy/ classic rock music.

One request — if you could post your live music schedule on Insta or Facebook it would be great.

Keep up the great work on making our town a better place...
