We ordered a set of macaroons for our daughter’s birthday party. I had high hopes but sadly it did not live up to its expectations. The person taking the order, who I also believe is the owner/chef, seemed in a rush and didn’t seem interested in the order or even details of what would be done. We wanted different colors and flavors with glitter on it. She did say yes she would create a box of mixed macaroons, did not even bother to talk for an extra min about what flavors would be included. We picked up the macaroons on the day of the bday and sadly it looked like a box of leftover macaroons. Some small, some big, some thin and some stuffed. I didn’t even care about the taste,just the way it looked was so disappointing to put out on the bday desserts table. RETURN OF THE MAC(K)! As someone who loves every single dessert on the planet--and someone who initially had a bakery favorite for the macaroon--I will say that Cristina's Bakery has just moved up to my number one favorite bakery! ESPECIALLY FOR MACAROONS.

Soft shell, CREAMY center... and flavors that will literally blow your mind (cookie butter, Oreo cheesecake, raspberry chocolate, lemon meringue etc.) My family loved them so much my brother Ian joked that my fiancé is not invited over unless he brings them! My mother intends to buy individually wrapped ones for her coworkers and I plan to stop by EVERYTIME I find myself in Glen Rock. You haven't lived till you tried these macaroons.

Based on my experience this review doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. The first picture was what was sent to them for my daughters 1st birthday. The other 2 pictures is the cake i received. First off, it was oddly wide and big. My example was more narrow and tall. This was just big in a weird looking way. Second, and most importantly, the shade i was looking for was a soft pink. They gave me a peach beige color. And lastly, i was at least hoping it tasted good…NOPE. No one was able to eat it. We threw this big piece of cake in the garbage. Since it ended up not matching my theme or looking good in pictures I was at least hoping it tasted good. I had such high hopes from ordering from here to a huge let down. Will never order here again. A one...
