The woman handling the drive thru 9-9:30am on Dec 13, 2024 needs to fix her emeffing attitude for one. I got there and ordered egg bites. I asked for a trenta Carmel ribbon crunch - something literally every Starbucks has done and she rudely said "no I can give you a venti" with the sort of condescending dismissal a parent who is watching "their show" would give a child. I asked when they started doing that. Again she responded with a snobbish attitude "uhhh?? Since always??" Nice. Just tryna get me a coffee and get some egg bites for my pregnant wife. I drove off angrily (or the best that you can do here, which means i left with out ordering, but still was forced to go thru the long line. When i passed the window, every woman behind the glass looked at us like we were the problem or some sort of inconvenience) Normally, this kind of disrespectful arrogance would have trumped me, but - get this - there are four or five other Starbucks around this location within a few miles that have better staffing, better service, smiling faces, and aren't rude and dismissive. One of them is across the street inside the jewel osco, and it's literally 1/5th of the size of this location....
Read moreWe waited in line for 20 minutes on Christmas Eve. Finally, I pulled up at 4 pm and was told they were closed Fine. However, I could not leave the drive-through line, which was the bigger problem. The condescending, controlling, and rude barista who trapped me in the line for 30 minutes and would not let me leave is the real problem. I kept asking for the other cars to pull forward like Portillos and Mcdonald's do so I could get out of the line I was trapped in, and I was told NO. Not even nicely, it was a FU ATTITUDE EVEN THOUGH WE WERE TRAPPED!! Finally, after ten more minutes, I was able to back out. This was unacceptable, and I'm escalating to Starbucks corporate. What makes her so unique is that her time and the customers in front of me were just more important and the message was very clear. That it was ok to trap people in line on Xmas Eve. I could not leave. Just “NO” I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THEY WERE DONE SERVING THE CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF ME. This was the worst experience at Starbucks I ever had. She should be fired. I am sure the other customer service complaints about the Glendale Heights location has to be the same person. Check...
Read moreI had a bad experience in this Starbucks store with a woman 👩🏻 named Diana, date June 24, 2025 she treated me like a criminal..and apart from that I discriminated against myself for my English accent .. that's how I felt, !!!! 😔☹️😟When speaking to him in Spanish, I only asked why he was charging me the spoonful of matcha powder ?? 🍵! He got so angry that he gave me a hateful look and asked me for my name!! That scared me 😬😧I think not that was the reason she told me to leave that Starbucks store and threatened to call the police 👮 and told me never to go back there ... because she herself would call the police 👮! I told him you're serious and he said yes!!! And tell the Starbucks corporation that I'm not doing anything wrong! Just get out of here!!! This is a discrimination against my person!! 🙅🏼♀️!! Unleable!!! I can't believe that there are people so majaderas and not very social to the clientele that we are and we are happy to savor a cold drink and to take away the stress of work and I got an unpleasant surprise!! 😮 😦 😳!! Very bad...
