On 8/28/25, I stopped by and asked how much it would cost to replace the battery in my phone and when it could be done. He told me he needed to order the battery and could have it ready on 8/29. I agreed, paid upfront, and left.
When I came back on 8/29 as instructed, he told me he had the battery but was too busy. I asked when I should return, and he told me to come back on 9/2/25 and that the repair would take about 45 minutes to an hour.
I got off work on 9/2 and showed up as planned, only to find out he was making excuses and lying. When I walked in, he took my phone and said he would “try” to finish it by the end of the day. I asked what he meant since he had previously promised it would only take 45 minutes. At that point, he started offering me a refund. I told him I didn’t want a refund, just the battery replacement.

Read moreI got my screen replaced here on 7/1/25 for my iPhone 13. He charged me $200, which he said was a little on the higher side because he only uses the best quality screens.
Right after the replacement, the screen felt a little off, but I thought it might fix itself. Over the next few days, it got progressively worse. I called several times on 7/3/25, but no one answered. The voicemail said to send a text instead, so on 7/4/25 I tried calling again and eventually sent a text. I even uploaded a photo as proof that the message was read, but I never received a response.
The screen continued to deteriorate, and after this experience, I didn’t trust anyone else to fix it. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I ordered a screen replacement kit from Amazon for $30. The kit came with all the tools and a step-by-step video tutorial. I replaced the screen myself in 30 minutes, and the quality difference is honestly night and day.
I strongly recommend others do the same and avoid getting scammed...
