I meant to write this review last night after my experience, but I was a bit fatigued after a day of traveling. I came here with my grandmother last night, around 6:30PM, and my lord this place was pretty busy for a Monday night. I was in absolute shock. I remember working food service when there were rushes and all I could do is feel for the staff. Once we were next in line, the cashier who helped me (sorry I didn't catch your name!) was nothing but patient and great with us. They still kept getting call after call and they still kept their composure. Anytime I asked for assistance (needing a side of garlic butter, utensils, to go box for wings) the staff was nothing but pleasant and didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing them.
What really took this review to five stars was the same cashier who rang up our order told us goodbye, which I know is standard for customer service, and also mentioned me by name. I know that sounds weird and may not mean a lot to many, but it feels good for employees to acknowledge us as people rather than just another customer. To the staff that worked closing shift yesterday, October 19th, you all were great and your customer service is why I continue to give Barro's my business. I placed my online order in like I have done before in the past and on one pizza I asked for extra sauce on one side. Apparently the system reads it as no sauce and only extra on one side. I call to explain what happened and the lady said her manager Tyler stated it's not their problem they use a third party website. Because he refused to come to the phone the first time I asked the young lady to put her manager on the phone again. He finally comes to the phone and tells me the website they use is a third party website and it's their issue not his. So he refused to remake the pizza for us. Never did I once ask for a refund. I just wanted a pizza with some sauce and he continued with his attitude and said it's not his problem. Read moreSo the first interaction with the first young lady was great. She was pleasant and polite everything you can ask for. Then their was the girl who looked like she was going to the club on a Friday night working the front counter. Trying way too hard. Something's just can't be on the level and this young lady with her rude attitude will never be. So she asked me if I've paid and I say yes I have. Then she looks at the other girls and asked if I've paid. I just told you I paid. Or how about looking at the receipt that says PAID. To blatantly basically call me a liar is rude and I almost ruined your night buy giving you the attitude you gave me back at you. Then I asked for ranch for my wings and she charges me for them. When did you guys start charging customers for ranch with their order. If you charge for it that's fine just make it known from now on.
