Shawarma Factory — Restaurant in Glendale

The older guy who cooks is very dismissive and seems as though he’s upset all the time. He also uses the same gloves (seems to be because of the filthy conditions they’re in) all day touching the food with them as well as the MONEY!!!! Disgusting!! The food could be way better like BORJSTAR SWARMA up the street but the disgusting conditions of how he handles food makes it an absolute NO. He did this during Covid and still does btw. He also Never answers the phone. And I know he would remove his gloves to answer it either, or scratch some part of his body or wipe the sweat off his face or pick something up off the ground. I guess it's on me that I assumed the #2 (the French roll sandwich) meant "combo" and would come with fries, or at least a small bag of chips. It does not. In reality, the sandwich is 10.49, the drink is 2.49, and fries are 5.49. The sandwich meat was warm/cold. I thought they would've at least grilled the shaved meat a bit, but no. It was beef, and it was ok, nothing truly special. I believe if the price was let's say 13-14bux, with a drink and bag of chips, it would've made the meal more acceptable. It's been a long time since I've had shawarma and this visit scratched the itch. Generous portions, the options to add or not add the ingredients you'd like. Pretty fresh and the kitchen seemed clean and kept.

We got the lamb shawarma wraps, and we were suprised to see how tightly they were able to wrap our pitas with all we put in there haha!

Since I don't have many points of reference in this type of food, I'm unable to say if it's authentic or not, however, I enjoyed my meal and found the pricing...
