There are so many interesting items on the menu that my family decided to order different items and share. Everyone loved the pizzas – we ordered Dealers and Margherita. The pizza dough had a nice texture and flavor – the kind you don’t leave behind. The Dealers had enough meat for meat lovers and vegetables for a lighter taste. The Margherita Pizza is delicious for later too- just heat in the Air Fryer (love it for breakfast). The Anti Pesto and Greek salad were both flavorful with light tasting dressing (I’m very picky about dressing), the sandwiches were excellent with different flavors that were refreshing. If you go out a lot, these dishes have a very unique and pleasant taste to them. Very enjoyable. Atmosphere was relaxing – like you can shut the world out and just enjoy. Excellent customer service on both our order to eat in and take out. If you are short on time or on a road trip, this place is worth ordering from online – it’s hassle free: order online, get notified when it will be ready and when it’s ready – pick it up and you are back on the road. If you have time, my suggestion is when you are done at Stone Oven Pizza to go next door to Gelati. I didn’t think I had room but I was in the mood for a great cup of coffee or espresso. I had my new favorite – Vanilla Bean and Espresso -not sure if that’s on the menu but Gelati has excellent customer service and very accommodating. Okay, and we also had the Belgian Waffles with fresh fruit and Gelato – it was so good. If you are interested in something lighter, they have fresh fruit dishes. Menu has an extensive variety to...
Read moreIt's okay... for the price.
A large Margherita pizza is currently $28.
If it were $18 it'd be great!
If it were $22 it'd be good.
At $28? It's just... okay.
Their version of a Margherita pizza is nothing like the first Google image results. Nor like what would be served most anywhere nicer than Domino's. It's a cheese pizza with tomato slices and way too much chopped basil on top. I don't even know if there was any ricotta or olive oil. I didn't taste any.
Do they just not know how to make this type of pizza? Or does their process require them to start every pizza with a cheese pizza?
The style certainly isn't New York. And it certainly isn't super special.
The ingredients tasted like the best part. You've got that warm smokey oven bread and the sauce wasn't pure sugar, just good tang and spice.
So, yeah. Once you scrape 70% of the basil off it was good! But $28?!
Was I charged a dollar per basil leaf? They've got way too much competition around to be charging that much.
I won't be going back until they either lower their prices, learn to make Margherita pizza, or somehow make their pizzas taste better than just about any pizza I've ever tasted to...
Read moreI'm not sure if it was just the location that my family and I went to or not, but their service was bad. Like we didn't even get acknowledged. Today was our first time going there too. When my family and I walked inside, we saw one person in the back or what I assumed was the kitchen. When you walk in, you can see a decent part of the back so that person could definitely see us. They looked straight at us and did not say a word to us. At all. So we waited for a bit and still nothing. We also waved when we first walked in and nothing. The person working there never said "Welcome, I'll be with you in a moment," or "Hi, one minute please," or just a simple "hello." So we left, which was a shame because the food and place looked decent and the reviews were high! We were left very disappointed and we definitely won't be trying them again or at least we won't be going to the same location. Maybe you'll have better luck than us but I would not...
