Ordered a sub on the app using a rewards deal i had earned then immediately walked in so i can customize my sub since the app is very slow when trying to customize a sub I informed the young lady the online order just printed was mine, that I had renal disease and would like it made a certain way. She raised her voice and said "the ingredients were already on the paper " and she will make it the way it states. I informed her it would be the same as if i were to walk in and order the normal way the only difference was that the sub was already paid for She proceeded to make the sub the way she wanted and sloppily tossed the ingredients on the sandwich with her bare hands and no gloves. I told her to forget it and I would like a refund. Employee began screaming and crying she didt need my "harassment" for the reason being she had been overworked the and hadn't had a day off in 2 weeks. Told her sorry but I just wanted a refund for the sandwich she was refusing to make. She screamed "NO REFUND!" and proceeded to to call the police to "escort me out" Police informed her because i had already paid for the item and i posed no threat that it was a civil matter Employee finally refunded my $ and screamed for me to get out of her store.
Update: The franchise owner Heidi Wong messaged me and stated her employee was liar for stating she had no days off and she was an outstanding employee, while other reviews here clearly indicate there is a problem with the woman owner and her abuse of employees and customers. I recently placed an order for 3 platters and requested everything on the side to avoid the bread getting soggy. When I picked up the order, I noticed that only lettuce and tomatoes were included as sides. I asked if I could also get the other veggies—like onions, pickles, olives, and spinach—and was told no, the employee explained that I should have selected that option when placing the order online, which I must have missed—my mistake.
I then asked if I could simply purchase the extra sides, but he said no again. I stood there in disbelief, talking to my sister-in-law, surprised that I couldn’t even buy the additional veggies. The worker then said he could give me a little bit at no charge. He started packing what was barely a quarter portion of mixed veggies in parchment paper, probably not enough for a footlong. While doing this, he answered a phone call and returned to tell me that his manager instructed him not to give or sell me the sides after all. He apologized and looked very uncomfortable—clearly being micromanaged, possibly through the cameras.
What disappointed me most was that I had ordered three full platters, and yet was refused even the option to purchase more vegetables. When I got home, I checked the website and saw that a veggie platter is listed at $14.99. I honestly don’t understand why I couldn’t have simply been charged for that.

Read moreI had a great experience at this Subway location recently, and I have to give a shout-out to Jason and Xavier—they make an amazing team! I've been to this location many times, but this was the first time in a long while that I felt truly valued and listened to as a customer. Jason put in a lot of effort to ensure everything was just right, and his hard work really paid off. This Subway is the best location in Glendale, hands down!
The bread at this location is better than any other Subway I have ever been to. Super soft and fresh. I had the meatball sub and it was very flavorful, plenty of sauce and not overcooked. The cookies were baked to perfection.
Since Jason has been managing this location, the store has been nice and clean. He has truly made the atmosphere enjoyable. This was the first time I have ever heard music playing in the background. It was nice to be able to chill out and relax.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to refresh the outside with a little paint around the windows, but that’s a small thing compared to the overall positive experience. I’ll definitely be returning!
