Some of these reviews had me pretty leery, but I’m for an underdog and even more for local so I took my chances. I was already on the area with one of my kids supporting another spot nearby and decided to search for a pizza by the slice spot and hoped I could find one nearby because pizza is a fave in our house. We had parked nearby so we decided to walk over when we saw this was close to where we were. The front door of Pizza Roma faces Glendale, but there street parking nearby as well as a parking garage and lots behind the location of you walk up the alley way behind them. Other reviews stated the service was less than stellar, but the moment we opened the door we were greeted, my questions answered and I was able to order a two slice pepperoni combo and a drink, added a second drink, plus six hot wings. The employee asked if I was ok with waiting about ten or so minutes for the wings since they would take about that long. Of course we were fine with that. We were given drinks and decided to take advantage of the nice weather on the patio. There is a good amount of seating inside, but a bit dark and definitely needs updates. This is located in Old Town Glendale so you’ll see that a lot around this area. I didn’t inspect the inside a lot or the restrooms so I can’t speak on that. The outside patio is nice, quite a few tables and a mural to enjoy. The sun does come in a bit, but there’s also a good amount of shade because it sits between two buildings. Our pizza slices came out pretty quick. First impression was I could tell the crust was crispy which I like, slices large, good amount of toppings, but insanely greasy. That is not a deal breaker for me as you can dab off the grease etc. we topped with some red peppers and dug in. First bite was hot, crispy and I pretty good flavor. I enjoyed it. I don’t typically order by the slice at many places because it tends to be dry and you usually see it sitting under heat lamps. Not here though. I’d eat it again. Our wings came out around the estimated time and weren’t overly sauced and pretty good size. They were pretty hot seasoning wise like we’d asked, but not unbearable. For the price of it all I’d definitely eat it again. Again I can’t attest to bad service, what the restrooms looked like or inside seating. Our experience...

ROCKSTARS like me, who like eating some BIG FAT GREASY DELICIOUS STEAMING PEPPERONI Pizza, dripping with some hot melted mozzarella cheese and an ice cold drink should stop and have a meal here! Every Wednesday I come in, order 2 slices of cheese pizza, a side salad and a small drink for about 7 ! I often add pepperoni, but for a dollar less you can eliminate the side salad. Who eats something healthy like a salad anyways when you are about to eat something that will bring your mouth full of flavorgasms of delight?

Rockstars always do something to set them apart! One thing you can do is try Manzanita Sol (Apple Soda) on the fountain drink, I can't think of any other places that has that, so it separates this place apart from the rest, also, I don't mind a small cup since I always get free refills, why should I pay for a bigger one? Right?

If you are eating with friends, since all ROCKSTARS have friends, get a large Roma Supreme for under $20 ! That's the true way to go!

The guy Colby who works here, super cool dude. Major props to him always!

ROCKSTARS DON'T buy from a pizza chain, keep those Arizona dollars in state and get...

This place is just steps away from the main square park area in downtown Glendale. Yes, the decor is nothing to write home about. Its fun and funky, as long as the tables and chairs aren't broken I'm a happy camper. They also offer nice stone round tables outside, perfect for a nice evening in Arizona.

My boyfriend LOVES wings...me not so much. This is one of the few, if not the ONLY pizza place I've found that offers a 6 count wing. He LOVES them, prefers them over everywhere else. They're BAKED not FRIED! They're juicy, and crunchy with none of the extra grease, if you like Frank's Hot Sauce, you'll love their hot wings.

I'm more of a plain person, we split a medium cheese pizza between us, even with our healthy appetites, that fills us up. And boy is it AMAZING! If you're looking for a perfect thin new york style pizza, look no further! The crust is thin, but still has a bit of chew with the perfect crunch. The cheese to sauce to crust ratio is perfect.

Long story short, the decor is nothing fabulous but the food (which is what counts) so makes up for it! We drive from Surprise, forsaking all pizza in between, to come...

I tried this place on a friend's recommendation. The guy at the counter was not so friendly and looked at me like an alien when I asked if they had specials. He finally pointed to the sign board and said they had slice specials. Originally I was going to get a whole pie but decided to start with a slice. It took awhile for them to heat it up at 5pm on a Tuesday. I used the restroom. Big mistake! It smelled, had a really dirty toilet and sticky floor. I realized the floor was dirty all the way out into the eating area. Pizza came and it was greasy but ok. The sauce was good and crust tasted good just had a little burnt area from the heating of the slice special. I enjoyed getting up to date on the news in Glendale with their subscription big the Glendale star! All in all it wasn't the worst but definitely not the best! Don't think I'll try a whole pie, not that interested in going back!

Crazy I come here often and my pizzas always been well done ! Ordered ahead of time got there & waited which I had planned on doing seeing as I asked for my wings & my pizza well done ! My pizza isn’t even cooked all the way & the wing’s definitely aren’t well done either . It’s in the oven cooking as we speak !!! I called to complain and nobody could further assist me since there is no management and was referred to ask for Steven on Thursday ! tonight was pizza night for my family & I drove 25 minutes just to go to a place which is usually great !the guys excuse was our pizza only goes to 600 degrees or it will burn ! Common sense would be to leave it in there longer to at least cook the dough all the way ! HOW DISAPPOINTING !!!
