Have I had better, yes. Is this still good, yes. I will definitely be back, as soon as next week even. I wasn't a fan of the coffee, next door they have better coffee. The cafe de olla had a burnt taste. I actually did go back soon after my first visit and really enjoyed the horchata and the red chilaquiles. I'm not too sure they actually make the horchata themselves and it was really sweet. However, the mazapan rim and the horchata itself was delicious, it will raise your blood sugar though lol. Say hello to the diabetes lol. I did enjoy the pambazo, wish it had extra of the toppings and sauce but that's personal preference. The chilaquiles were just the right amount of spicy and smoothered nicely in the sauce. I want to try the enchiladas next, might go back this week. Og post above was from 3 weeks ago. New post below: I went back today, for chilaquiles, just like last time. I feel the sauce was more flavorful last time but idk, maybe my palate is off today, still good though. I needed a hearty brunch to get to through the long, heavy work day I have today. Side note: It hasn't been this busy on other weekdays in the past. Maybe Thursday brunch is popular with the locals. There was only one waitress, I think her name is Sophia or maybe they mentioned a Sophia. She's a really great waitress and should get a fat raise cuz she's managing a full restaurant by herself very nicely and smoothly. She was so nice and personable to everyone and still...
Read moreI was extremely excited to visit this place. My daughter and I visited for a girls' brunch day. Upon entry, we were greeted with awkward stares and very broken English. The guests before and after us were greeted in the most delighted voice in Spanish.
There was a faint sewage smell that eventually subsided, which was a good thing. The decor was cute, and the atmosphere seemed pleasant.
The waitress struggled to take our order as her English was very broken. I let her know I could speak in Spanish if they made her more comfortable. She took my order in Spanish. Upon returning to my table, she continued in broken English and some Spanish.
The next couple they came in, she spoke to them in Spanish and welcomed them again, very delighted. She went over her favorite menu items and gave a detailed description of what each entree entailed.
My teen daughter asked why we were being treated so differently. The sad part is that my daughter and I are Mexican, and I am 100% fluent in Spanish. Judging a book by it's cover is very poor especially in 2025 as an employee of an establishment.
Our food was okay. My daughter really enjoyed the horchata. Her pancakes were tough to chew. My chilaquiles were bland and overly drenched in sauce. We asked for our check 3x and never received it. My daughter walked up to the counter and asked if we could pay.
It was a disappointing and experience which warrants a no...
Read morePhenomenal First-Time Brunch Experience My husband and I visited this incredible establishment for a date brunch, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. This was our first time dining here, and we were blown away—not just by the food, but by the service as well. Our server, Rut, was hands down one of the best we've had in a long time. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our meal.
We enjoyed a delicious spread that included the Mexican Burger, Tres Leches French Toast, and I had a flavorful omelette with chorizo, crema, and salsa. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. We also indulged in their unlimited horchata and melon aguas frescas—both refreshing and the perfect complement to our meal.
We left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable brunch spot with top-tier service and amazing food!
