Sat at the bar our first time here thinking we’d have a beer with the chef....this is not that place. Walked in at 6:30 and every table was full but only one table was eating. Everyone else looked frustrated -and I realized why 50 minutes later when our first order of nigiri came out! One chef one waitress for 20 customers is just cheap. Chef is too rushed for any conversation and I can name about a half dozen sushi spots in LA county I’ve had better quality fish at for less. He knows how to make the flavor profile of each fish sing, with subtle garnishing of his own invention. You are not going to find better quality sushi anywhere around the LA County area, and if there is I certainly haven't experienced it yet. This place is a must try. Side note try and get there by 5:30pm right...
