I don't like when a restaurant automatically adds a 18% gratuity to the bill. We went to celebrate a birthday and at the end of the meal when I looked at the bill I got ready to add the tip, however; I happen to notice that a 18% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. I wouldn't have noticed this if I had not looked for the tip distribution that some restaurants have at the end of the bill. It saves you having to do the math. Now, I can understand adding the 18% gratuity if you have a large party , but here it was only 4 of us. Again, maybe I would've forgiven this if the service was impeccable, but it nowhere near that. We did not get small plates for the appetizers. The dinner plates were used for that, and no separate salad plates either. And maybe the fact that the restaurant only had another party of 6 dining there at a busy dinner hour on a Friday night, that should've been our giveaway, along with an empty parking lot. Again, maybe I would've forgiven this if the food was great, but it wasn't. It was very mediocre. So, to say the least, we will not be coming back to...

Read moreAfter a great experience my first time here about two weeks ago I spontaneously decided to visit again on Saturday June 25th. I got here at about 10:08 PM. Everyone who welcomed us was very friendly and courteous. We got seated and we ordered the same food as last time. After our waitress got our first round of drinks she basically forgot about us and didn’t come back to check on us. We got our food about 40 minutes later, which was understandable as there were quite a few people still dining when we walked in. The food was no longer hot when it got to our table, but still warm so we didn’t complain. I believe the young man who delivered it might have been a cook and since our waitress never came back we ended up asking him (the young man) for a second drink for my boyfriend. When my boyfriend’s drink got dropped off the young man left so quickly I couldn’t ask for a drink for myself. Eventually our waitress came back about an hour later once we were finished eating to ask us if everything was ok. The food was great but the service was very...
