I am new to Legends. I went there recently, even though they have been in my neighborhood for years. I was impressed with their home made food. They have pictures in the window of their delicious Smoothie drinks. I was going almost daily and spending $8.00 on Strawberry Banana Smoothie, (always) no whip cream. I went inside to order and noticed that sometimes they make a little bit extra. They throw it away. Since I do not take the whip cream, I asked that they provide a dome lid and pour the remaining in my cup. It NEVER fills it up, just goes over the lip. I feel better because the drink is expensive. I went in there this past Friday. A young man made too much of my drink and was putting the dome lid on my drink, when a young girl came over and ripped it off and put a flat lid on it and handed it to me. I told her that I often got the dome lid. She told me, it wasn't allowed and thrust the cup at me. This had only been the 50th time, I had received my smoothie and I had never heard of such a "law." My only complaint with this is that MANY times I ordered through the drive-thru. The girls that work the drive-thru are often very curt and getting your food is VERY SLOW. Why they don't park cars to keep the lane moving is beyond me. In the drive-thru, I never seem to get the cookie straw, I am often shortchanged of this. Occasionally getting a little extra smoothie with the dome lid, when it will only be thrown out anyway, seemed like a nice tradeoff. I was so mad, at the girl who refused to give me a little bit more, that I will find my 8.00 per day, fix, someplace else now. ...
Read moreI recently visited Legends Diner with my dad, and we had a great experience overall. We went between lunch and dinner, so it wasn’t too busy.
I ordered the chicken salad with fried mushrooms, and my dad had the fish and chips. The fries were definitely the highlight of the meal—probably the best fries I’ve ever tasted! My dad asked for them crispy, and they came out perfectly cooked, golden, and seasoned really well. The fish, on the other hand, was just okay. It tasted like it might have been pre-made and frozen rather than freshly battered, which is what I prefer.
The chicken salad was pretty good, and I really appreciated that they offered feta cheese instead of the typical three-cheese blend. The pita bread on the side was a nice touch. The fried mushrooms were amazing—juicy, crispy, and perfect for dipping in ranch.
The atmosphere is a blast from the past, with a fun 1950s-60s diner vibe. The jukebox was playing, though I wish the music had been a little louder to complete the nostalgic feel. It’s a family-friendly spot, and I’d definitely come back again—maybe to try something new on the menu!

Read moreToday was the 1st time we came to try this place out. I was looking for restaurants in Glendora, where my brother lives (he recently moved there). I found this place on here (I like to read reviews that also has the owner/manager replying back to the reviewer, this tells me that they care & a sign of great customer service 👍) & told my brother to meet us here for lunch. It was a great place!!! I like all the decor, from classic license plates to photos of Lucille Ball, Audrey Hepburn, Betty Boop & lots & lots of memorabilias that I could just read & look at. This resto felt welcoming, spacious & nostalgic. It reminds you of the fun, good old days, no worries at all.... Oh BTW the food is very good!!! My sons like the chili cheese burger combo, my brother had the pastrami (pretty good portion of pastrami 👍) & I had the mess burrito. Sooo many to choose from. They also have other condiments, 4 different salsas, huge jalepenos, onions/cilantro (I think that's what it looks like) & pickled small yellow peppers/carrots/onions. When we get a chance to come back I'd like to try the French toast, didn't make it before 11am ☹️, next time....
