The xiao long bao here are absolutely delicious and feel like an affordable alternative to Din Tai Fung. The dumplings are juicy, flavorful, and have the perfect balance of thin but sturdy skin. You can tell the chef has serious skills—I've had soup dumplings elsewhere where the skin was too thin and broke before I could even pick them up, losing all the precious soup. I've also had dumplings with thicker skin that held together but ruined the texture. However, their xiao long bao achieves the perfect balance: thin, yet durable enough to hold the soup without breaking.
I also have to rave about their beef steamed dumplings! I’ve never had steamed dumplings with soup inside before, and they were such a delightful surprise. On top of that, their shrimp fried rice is outstanding—it's just as good as the best fried rice I’ve had at any other Chinese restaurant.
Honestly, everything I’ve tried here has been excellent. Best of all, the prices are much more reasonable compared to Din Tai Fung....

We also got their hot and sour soup, seaweed and tofu salad, salt and pepper shrimp, egg fried rice, sauteed green beans, and sauteed cabbage. The hot and sour soup is not my favorite, I would not get it again but the sauteed green beans are crispy with a garlicky taste are good. We would come here just for their xiao long bao. The portion sizes for the dishes are fine for two people for no leftovers, they're around $15 a dish.
They have a sister branch in Pomona. The staff is nice and the...
Read moreThis place is really good. Coming into the restaurant is a bit confusing as you'll be asked if you'll want to be seated and how many in your party. I felt a bit intimidated by it all, but once you're seated they're very kind towards you. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs from their appetizer section, it was delicious. Also got the shrimp udon, Xiao long Bao, and chicken fried rice. I wish I took a picture of the amazing dishes, to share here, but all of it was soo delicious, ate it pretty quickly. A lot of people talked about very little flavor, but I felt it was the complete opposite. Maybe it's just the dishes I ordered. Definitely give it a try if you're...
