Classic Coffee — Restaurant in Glendora

We stumbled across your coffee shop on a recent trip to downtown Glendora. I was raised in Glendora, and I like to try to support small town businesses especially in such a familiar town. I will start by saying our first visit was amazing. The young man that helped us was very kind, and had explained that if we were to get the Pumpkin Spice coffee iced, that it may taste a bit watered down, and it was not recommended, but was still good. He even asked if he should leave it a bit lower to accommodate cream. We asked for light ice, and our order was served exactly as we asked. My husband really enjoyed it. On his birthday a few weeks later we visited again. We asked for the same drink, with light ice. This time they did not ask if we wanted room for cream, but it’s not a big deal to remove some of the coffee. It takes a while for them to make it but we waited. As the girl (Christy) was finishing the drink I saw her loading up the drink with ice. I tried to stop her and asked for light ice. She was not accommodating at all. She seemed annoyed, and I told her we had it that way the last time and it was fine. Instead of offering good customer service and asking if she could remove some ice, or remake the drink, she continued to put more ice in the cup saying it was a hot drink and she had to do it because we would be drinking plastic from the cups you use and that could lead to a law suit. Really? I am giving 2 stars because the coffee was good. But I feel some major retraining is needed in her case, and if the attitude doesn’t change you will see more and more people going to a place where they are accommodated in a more friendly way. I never post negative reviews. I felt this was necessary because it was my husband’s birthday. We ended up leaving upset and unhappy on a special day. I wish I would have asked for the first young mans name.. he should teach her a bit of common courtesy and respect for customer service. I read online the owners name is Lois. delicious coffee but the service is terrible it messed up the business I walked in to order I ordered a triple shot with a splash of half and half and the lady taking my order was like I cant give u the splash its self serve and I'm like OHHH perfect 🤩 and I ordered double shot of expresso with bit of steamed milk so when the they called it out I told the lady making the drinks is this the double shot of expresso with steamed milk the way they represented was CHEAP they put it 3 oz mouth wash cup with out a lid I told the lady I always come and never got it like this she I told her ok it's fine can I please get a small cup with a lid I will pour it in SHE SAID YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID ! And I just ignored it moving on I got my other drink I went to put half and half it was empty I tryed the whole milk next to it it was empty i went to tell the cashier these cream are empty she yelled out THESE AREN'T FOR YOU!!! I told her than it's for who Aren't they near the door and when I ordered my coffee you told me its self serve and she told me noo these are customers who only put a splash! These creams should be filled up especially in the morning and they we"rnt I was holding my cup and I was begging almost for it I showed her my cup that I didn't put any cream so she threw the carton of cream on the counter and took the next order I'm like whowww than I sat down to drink my coffee all these employees were staring at me and talking these are teenagers need some training how to treat customers overalll have noo experience !!!need to hire smiley faces CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING I told all my family not to go...

I've been coming to Classic Coffee since they day they opened. I have to say, over the years, they haven't changed a bit, which is definitely for the best.

They're probably, no definitely, the best coffee shop in Glendora. They have a killer frozen hot chocolate that I'd recommend anyone get. Although honestly I always go back to their iced teas, as they are very refreshing on a hot day.

The inside is always clean and nice. It's comfortable and well decorated. They have additional seating in the hallway, but no matter what way you look at it, it's a great place for studying. It's not overly cramped or uncomfortable.

The owners are absolutely lovely and Jonathan, the manager, is equally as amazing. He's so friendly and helpful. He definitely knows what he's doing. Even better, everyone at Classic Coffee tries to involve themselves in the local community.
