It's a small corner park with a very old, very big, historical tree. Anyone having grown up in the area is familiar with the tree and probably has memories of spending time there with friends as youths. Not a big place, has two (3?) cement picnic tables, a gazebo, some aesthetically placed walks and plants, and of course, the big tree with historical marker. What was once just a corner lot is now a nice place to come and eat lunch, sit and talk or possibly spend time reading in the gazebo there. No playground and parking...

(I find it necessary to explain this after running into a lady who drove so far to come here thinking it was a big park with many trees. Poor thing!) The tree is beautiful. There is a sign warning about the local wildlife (coyotes, bears, etc.) so keep your pets leashed and your little ones well...

Very fun to climb onto and into. Park is very tiny which makes the tree itself seem bigger than the park, and best of all, it sits in a very nice neighborhood.
