Extraordinary dining. If you are a foodie, Porter’s will wow the palate. The perfectly cooked and seasoned bone-in pork chop with “bacon jam” is fantastic. The wild mushroom risotto with grilled Norwegian salmon and balsamic glacé is stunning. Also try the no-filler crab cakes that will make you order them again and again. A flourless chocolate cake to finish out the evening with a cherry reduction drizzle has redefined decadence. Try the eye opening Crab bisque. Or the Onion soup layered in heaping savory comfort. Having dined at many acclaimed establishments, it is abundantly clear that Porters is in excellent company. Regionally, Porters is delightfully reminiscent of the brilliant meal designs and execution of Circa and Cochon. Bitterly, I dismiss the two insufferable and insipid reviews below that bare all the trappings of conjecture and piquancy error. While steak might be the main attraction, we had a couple of amazing starters. The onion soup is rich and deeply flavorful, with caramelized onions and a golden, cheesy crust that’s comfort in a bowl. Cocktails were so refreshing and delicious!!! Now for the food… wow. The French onion soup was rich, perfectly seasoned, and topped with that golden, melty cheese you dream about. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. And the pork chop? Hands down one of the best we have ever had—juicy, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. We also had a Caesar salad and the cinnamon bread pudding dessert which were just as great!
