Friendly's — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

Extremely horrible service. We waited along with 4 other party to be sat. One party left because of the wait time. An older women customer from another's party literally walked in the back to get service and out comes 3 employees including a manager who walked right passed everyone. We were being sat in an area that was tight so we asked could we sit somewhere else and was told yes. After 15 mins of no service we were told the table we chose was not a serviceable table which was no sign. We moved again to a table that we were told to go too. No service again. Our order was taken 15 minutes later. We watched the 3 other parties that we waited with order, eat, and leave. I asked for a manager and that was a wait while she serviced takeout orders. Once I spoke to her and informed her that it had been 49 minutes with no food. She said I must have moved the sign and I sat in the wrong area. I pointed to the table that still did not have a sign. I also informed her that other customers who had arrived after we reached our current table had already been serviced and eating. She said it was because of different servers and they are doing their best. I did decline her offer for discounted ice cream. While speaking with her our food came extremely cold and missing food. The food had to have been sitting back there. The servers were nice when speaking with them. The manager was unpleasant and lazy. She kept going to the back with all the servers. I don’t know why I bother coming here. It is either understaffed or the staff there just doesn’t care about customers. Every time I go there, whether it’s a handful of people or a full house, expect to have to wait a loooooooooooong time to get served. It’s ridiculous, and last night was it for me. On of the workers was sitting there , I assume on her break (which I believe everyone is entitled to) but she kept getting served food while we sat there waiting for anyone to attend to us. They jus kept walking by us talking to their friend on break, bringing her plates of food, and ignoring all the other customers. No one was concerned that my family was there over 20 minutes now with no one taking our order yet. There were plenty tables available but all were dirty. The lady up front didn’t know where to sit people and just sat on people wherever she could squeeze them in and then just left them there. There was no communication among staff. There were more people at the ice cream section than on the whole floor. It was such an awful waste of my time and I had to leave and go to a Wendy’s. I hope this place gets it together because it’s a shame that they have a great spot to serve so many customers but have no sense of what customer service...

What a fiasco! I was seated 10 minutes before the hostess noticed I hadn't had my order taken yet. SHE brought my drink. SHE kept me and the table next to me posted another our orders. SHE took the order for 2 other tables. I never saw the waitress until it was time for the check. My food came out 35 minutes after I was seated. The table next to me got my check. No one seemed to know how to fix it. I asked to see the manager. Dennis I believe his name was. His only concern was the wrong check and did I pay. No apology. No explanation. Then he walked away and was heard cursing in the kitchen. A second manager came, Desean, offered an apology but no compensation for my now 1 hour 10 minute stay. Thank you Kira- the hostess- she was the only one concerned for me and 4 other tables. It was as if the waitress didn't know she was responsible for our tables. Kira deserves some recognition for trying and caring about the customers. Kira got my generous tip personally. Nothing left on the table. I hope she wasn't forced to share and I hope the other tables did the same. You won't be seeing me there again. The food was...
