Sharky's Bagels — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

Would be a decent place if they were capable of functioning properly. First experience: called order in (1 sandwich) . Upon arriving I paid then waited 20 mins (no exaggeration) before I finally received it. And that was only after insisting my sandwich should be done already since I called in 30 min prior. Cold sandwich for me! Second time went smoother but clearly these 16yr old kids are in over their head and shouldn't be running the store alone. I did not see an adult in store either time. Today I called and they said they're not taking phone orders. WHAT?!?! I'm blown away at the lack of business acumen. It's a longer drive for me but Township Bagel makes better sandwiches and has great customer service would recommend them over Sharkys every day of week if not for 15 minute drive.

Update 10/19/19... They will literally NEVER figure it out. Wanted to grab a sandwich quickly rather than make breakfast. Store packed with people that already ordered yet only 1 person on line ordering. This illustrates a total lack of effective function. They STILL dont take phone orders or understand how that would help speed things up and increase business while reducing in shop chaos for the customer. Never an enjoyable experience walking into this place, bring excedrin! I am 100% considering opening up a bagel shop right next door to steal ALL their business. It would be comical and profitable. Honestly the bagels are decent but I wish there were another option besides this place. If you get a toasted bagel they literally squish the entire bagel down so it will fit through the toaster. The wait times for your food is typically pretty long but this is do to how busy it is. It would probably be better to call in your order but to do that, the phones would have to be working. tried calling multiple times at 9am on a sunday and it went right to voicemail. When I told the girl at the front when she took my order that the phone wasnt working her response was "oh...weird". On top of that they were out of almost every type of bagel due to how busy it was. There were so many people in the store that I was not able to view which type of bagels they had left. After asking for about 4 different types of bagels and being told they didn't have them I asked if she could just tell me what they did have left to which her response was "umm I'm not sure". All she had to do was look over and read them. Instead another customer who overheard the conversation stepped in and told me what they had. All in all the bagles are decent for what they are but some of the staff really seem like they are in lala land..... Seriously the worst service. I am a normal person and do not have unrealistic dining expectations at a bagel place.We got there at 1:30 and there was an older man very uncomfortably standing. I took one of the chairs off of the table and gave it to him to sit there. Ordered two sandwiches. Was told they were out of chicken. Okay, no problem. It took 20 Minutes to make two sandwiches. The girl at the counter wiped her nose with her hand and went about her business. Everyone there was under the age of 25 and we heard all about their bad time with four loko, weekend drinking plans, favorite bars, and that time they were so drunk. The floors were filthy. The kid making my wrap wiped his hands on a dirty rag and then made my food with the same pair of gloves. Once our food was made they handed the food to my mom and sarcastically said "have a great day" and then mumbled something as we were exiting.
